Reader's POV

I grinned as I beat Bakugo.
Okay, technically, it was a tie.
But I won.

I kept my grin on as I shoved him back, walking past him.
"Y/NNNNNNNN!" he then shouted, charging at me.

Before he could reach me, he was stopped by Tenya.
"Bakugo! The battle has already ended," he told him.

I smirked, sticking out my tongue at him as I skipped back to my spot.
Mina and I high-fived.

We continued to train. I stopped once Tenya came over to me.
"Hey, Y/n. Could you help Todoroki and I take out more equipment?" He asked with a slight smile.
My heart started to race as he spoke.

"Y-Yeah, of course," I said, stuttering as I spoke to him.

I walked with him and Todoroki to the closet.
Iida checked his pockets before turning back, "I'll go get the keys," he said, rushing off.

I let out a deep breath in relief.
"Why haven't you confessed?" Todoroki asked.
"Shut up, Heather! I mean, Shoto," I grumbled.
He chuckled, rolling his eyes.

"Don't act like it's so easy. I know you had trouble," I told him, winking at him as I turned to Momo who was talking to the other girls.

"Yeah yeah," he grumbled.
"I've got the keys," Tenya then said making me jump.

"Y/n was getting impatient," was all Todoroki said before he opened the door and walked in.
"I-..." I shut my mouth, going in behind him.

I turned to Teyna to see him grabbing some equipment, giving me a smile.
My face burned as I blushed, turning away from him.

I liked him, a lot.
He was so mature and confident, a bit...
Along with hot, yeah that too.

Todoroki knew about my crush on him and would often tease me about it, but I only shot him back on it using Momo, Bakugo, or Midoriya.
I could never find out who he liked, but it was one of those three and I was bent on finding out.

I looked back at Tenya before grabbing the equipment and rushing out.

Time Skip

I plopped face first onto my bed with a groan.

I turned my head to face my phone as I turned it on and played a few games.

After about an hour, I finally got up. Laying my head in my arms, I frowned.
"Y/n!" My mother called.

I let out a sigh and got up, looking at myself in the mirror before I left.
Maybe I should wear different clothes... that don't show my legs.

Okay.

I went to my mother and helped her on the food.
My father left when I was young, he couldn't take the pressure of being a father I guess. So, growing up, I decided to blame myself.
I was the reason he left anyway...

My mother rubbed my shoulder. "Hey, you're doing great," she said with a smile.
"Yeah... I try," I offered a smile.
"You got into UA! Of course you're trying," she said hopefully.

I gave her a smile. She always tried to cheer me up.

My phone started to pick up so I gained my fake confidence and answered it.
