Dakotah's point of view

Later at the bridge

"What do you want Lucas?" I asked him entering onto the bridge. He shifted his ears to a guy on a bench. It was Thorn reading a book. I walked over to Lucas. He was on the bridge looking into the water. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"He has a fiancé." I whispered to Lucas. He twitched his ear, and then looked at me.

"That doesn't mean I can just get over him!" He whispered loudly. His eye turned blue.

"Boo, i'm sorry." I said still looking at his eye. He noticed me and put an eye patch on. He whispered he was sorry, and hugged me. I hate when this happens. It makes me look miserable. I love my twin with all my heart, but I can't stand his eye changing. Oh, you don't know. Everytime my brother changes his mood, his eye changes. Blue, means sad and angry. I shivered and hugged him tighter. I heard him wimp. I pulled away.

"How can you control it?" He asked looking at both my eyes. I smiled.

"Practice." I said putting my hand on his shoulder. I have the same thing he does, I just know how to control it.

I still haven't told Carter about my brother. I mean, should I? Lucas has a crush on Thorn, but Thorn already has a fiancé. I try to tell Lucas, but it's no use. Thorn might not even know if Lucas exists! Man, I just wish my brother told him before he met his fiancé. I thought maybe if I just introduced them to each other, they would be friends.
