Chapter 21

Ash's point of view

I walked down stairs and my dad was still mad at Harper. I could hear my dad breaking things, I stopped at the bottom stairs to talk to my mom.

She asked me "Good Morning sweety! How are you this morning?"

I told her I was going great and that she looked amazing! Before I could ask her a question she cut me off.

"Ash your 18th birthday is tomorrow, and you haven't given us any ideas of what you want!" She asked trying to be polite

I held back what I wanted more than anything but she could tell I was hiding something.

"Come on Ash I know there is something you really want, what is it. Please tell me." Aph said with a twinkle in her eyes.

I started to blush and I told her there is only one thing I want. That thing is to move out and live with my boyfriend.

She was amazed and then she said "That's fine with me but you have to ask your father."

I smiled and started to walk towards the kitchen. He was still breaking things but it was worth a shot. He snapped his head to look at me.

Hey dad! How are you this morning?

"Hi there sweetheart! I'm going good" He said this with no hate in his voice.

"She has something to tell you, honey" Aph said walking by the kitchen door.

"What is it?" He asked with a sweet tone and his curious smile. I blushed a little and told him I want to move in with my boyfriend as my birthday present. He looked at me like I was crazy but then said "If that is what you really want, then yes" I was shocked and then I hugged him and didn't let go. Thank you so much dad!

He said "Anything for you!"

I let go and jumped for joy. I ran back up stairs and started to pack my bags. A few minutes later I had everything packed and packed it all into my car. I would be able to move in with Ky tomorrow! I was so excited I couldn't stop thinking about it. I jumped on my bed and texted Ky, I told him I got my birthday wish. Kyan texted back with "I can't wait to see you tomorrow!" I texted back with I already packed everything up and put it in my car, I can't wait to see you too! He sent back a "Sorry to cut this short but I have to leave for work. I love you" I responded I love you too!
