Chapter 16

Harper's point of view

Airport

Ash and I met Ryder, Dakotah, and Carter at the airport. I didn't know how to feel about going on a week cruise. It was going to be fun, but we had to hide! We walked into the airport doors. It was 11:00, and I was tired, very tired.

"Uh Ash, Harper. I want you to meet my little sister. This is Willow." He smiled and patted a little girl on the shoulder. She rolled her eyes. I smiled, and she looked me up and down.

"Ur..." She looked up at Ryder. "Your cute." Ryder cleared his throat, and looked down at her. She laughed and walked over to Ash. She looked up at her.

"Can I touch you ears?" Ash asked Willow politely. I hit her in the shoulder.

¨You can't ask someone that!¨I said looking at Willow. A grin spread across her face. She moved her hair, so her full ear showed. She let Ash feel it. Ash's face lit up with happiness. She looked at me. Touch she whispered. I backed away, and walked over to Ryder. He grabbed onto my waist.

¨Couldn't stop thinking about you.¨ He whispered into my ear. I rolled my eyes, and put my hand in his hair. I looked at his ears, and grinned.

¨Ryder, I was only gone 1 hour. ¨ I laughed. He chuckled, and leaned in for a kiss. I pulled away, and looked at a group of girls. They walked toward us. I looked at Ryder, and pushed him away. His face turned into full shock. I shifted my ears to the girls. He rolled his eyes, and nodded. I smiled and walked away. I went over to Dakotah. I asked if she could go into the bathroom with me. She gave Carter a peck on the cheek, and walked away with me. We quickly walked into the bathroom.

¨So, what do you need?¨ Dakotah asked as we entered the bathroom. I sighed and took something out of my bag. I handed the pregnancy stick to Dakotah. I put my head in my hands. Dakotah gasped as she saw the two pink lines. She looked back up at me, and smiled. She hugged me.

¨This is so awesome!¨She said. She jumped up and down. She stopped when she heard me sob. She frowned.

¨Harper?¨ She said putting her hand on my shoulder. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my chest. It was awkward, but I needed a hug, a long one too.

¨I'm not ready, and either is he.¨ I whispered. My eyes hurt from how much tears I have been crying. She hugged me tighter.

¨Wait, who's the dad?¨ She asked under her breath. I looked up at her. Carter didn't tell her about Ryder and I?

¨It doesn't matter, I don't want to tell him.¨ I pulled away, and crossed my arms. ¨Especially after what happened tonight.¨ I whispered so no one would hear.

¨Harper, you need to tell them. It does matter! They have a kid now, and an amazing girl like you for a mom!¨ She said. I sobbed and smiled. I looked up at her.

¨Your right. Ryder does deserve to-¨ She went from happy to shock. I stood there in fear. ¨I...¨ I started to tear up.

¨Ryder?¨ She asked still shocked. I nodded my head yes, and she didn't say anything. I took the stick from her and ran out of the airport bathroom. I ran up to Ryder, who was talking to his little sister. I chucked the stick at him, and watched him look at it. He was confused. He looked up at me, and grabbed my hand. He took me to a corner of the airport. I still had tears rolling down my cheek. He handed me the pregnancy stick, and growled.

¨This is a joke, and you got me.¨"He said looking at me with the smirk. I closed my eyes and looked down at my stomach, and put my hand on it. I sobbed, and looked back up at him. He was shocked. He looked at my stomach, with my hand over it. He looked into my eyes. The only thing I could see, was anger, fear, ashamed, and mad. I closed my eyes.

¨I'm not ready, and neither are you.¨ He started. He put his hands on my shoulders. ¨I have other stuff that I want to do.¨ He said looking at the group of girls. I pushed him away from me.

¨Yeah, complete your goal. Sleep with every girl there is possible not taken!¨I said. I smacked him, and walked away. I turned back to him. He felt his cheek, and leaned against the wall. I walked over to Carter, and he hugged me. That's when I realized, at least my best friend was here for me. Willow walked over to Ryder, and hit him in the shoulder. She started yelling at him. I couldn't tell what she was saying, maybe bad stuff about me?

¨I..don't care if Ryder doesn't want to support or keep it, I am.¨I whispered. Carter hugged me tighter, Dakotah smiled. I rested my head on Carter, and watched Willow push and yell at Ryder. He looked worried. He flicked Willow's ear, and she yelped and felt her ear. I can tell it hurt her. He glanced back at her,and walked over to us. I pulled away from Carter. Carter saw Ryder, and growled under his breath. Ryder looked at him, and then me and sighed. He looked at the boarding sign.

¨Y-You guys ready? We need to get good seats.¨ He smiled, and grabbed my luggage. Carter smacked his hand, and took it. Ryder looked at me, and I turned away, so he was looking at my back. He let go, and rolled his eyes. I licked a tear that came out of my eyes. Dakotah grabbed her luggage, and Carter grabbed mine and his. I tried to grab it from him, be he didn't let me take it. We walked down to the waiting area, and I sat down. My stomach hurt, bad. Was there a pill I could take? How do I lay down without it hurting the baby? I sat between Carter and Ryder. I turned, and looked at his phone. He was scrolling through his texts of girls. He started to delete some. Why? He clicked his phone off, and looked at me.

¨You hungry?¨ He asked politely. I nodded my head yes. He smiled. ¨What do you want?¨ He asked. I looked at my stomach and smiled. I licked my lips.

¨A popsicle?¨ I laughed. He looked at me, and had a puzzled look on his face. He smiled. He sat up, and I grabbed his arm. He fell onto me, and blushed. I moaned, and felt my stomach. He got off, and apologized.

¨Its fine, just go get me a strawberry mango popsicle.¨ I said feeling my stomach.

¨I don't think think they make those.¨He said laughing. I frowned. ¨Ok, I will look.¨ He said walking away. I smiled, and turned on my Netflix.

10 minutes later, he came back with my popsicle.

¨Found one!"He said. He handed me it. I took the wrapper off, and studied it. He sat next to me.

¨Relax, its edible. I paid extra, even tip.¨He said as I took a lick.

¨I just want to make sure it's safe for my baby to eat it. He sighed.

¨Ours.¨ He corrected. I glared at him, and took another lick.

I looked at him, and turned to him.¨Really? Cause it looks like you don't give a Fu*k about this baby." I looked at Carter, and he shook his head. Pfft, whatever. I looked back at Ryder. He sighed.

¨Protection.¨He said as he rolled his eyes.

¨Really? Now after all that flirting and stuff, your going to just-¨I started. He put a hand over my mouth. He sat up and walked over to s girl who was in line for food. I teared up, and looked over at Ash. Ash saw Ryder, and sat up. She walked over to the girl and Ryder. She grabs Ryder, and then he's out of sight. I started to get worried. I got up and looked at Carter. He grabbed onto me, and hugged me.

¨Why, why do I have to be the one?I just want to leave. Leave everything and everyone!¨ I said Hugging him tighter. He smiled, and pulled away.

¨Your about to be a mom!¨Carter said putting his hand on my shoulder. I sighed and looked down.

¨But the dad, he...¨ I started. Ryder and Ash came back.
