"Where have you been?" Vanessa asked furiously.
"Calm Ness. We are only few minutes late." Javier said.
She looked at me so mad that's shes turning red. "Tay, you could've inform me that you're out with Javier!"
I dont have to tell Vanessa anything because she doesn't own Javier and we are all friends here.
"What difference does it make?" Javier cut in before I could speak. He stood between Vanessa and I.
"Jav I'm talking to Tayla" she said softly.
She is talk so mellow when it comes to Javier. Now I figured he is her weakness.
"Its my fault why she's late. Dont take it out on her" Javier replied.
"Well she should-"
"No excuses Nessa. We didnt waste anyone's time. Your other group mates just got back also." Javier pointed to the group of ballerina coming in. Vanessa given me a distress look. She turned around and walked away.
"I can handle her Jav" I said looking straight to Javier.
"I know but it was my idea to take you out"
I dont want Javier to be in trouble because of me. I should start to handle everything in my own hands.
"Sorry" I apologized.
"No need to apologize. We had fun after all". He touched my chin. "Let's not ruin the rest of the day because of her emotions."
"She's just dealing with alot of stuff right now" I sigh.
"I know" he tuck my hair beside my ear.
"You know?" I bet he does because Vanessa tells Javier everything.
"Yes I know" he chuckled. "She told me everything" I knew it!
"Oh when?"
"The night we first met" he recalled.
"Which one?" I asked wondering if it at the party or the apartment.
"Hallway." He answered. Oh yes when I saw him coming out of Vanessa's door. He just stare at me smiling.
"What?" I wonder what this guy is thinking now.
"You remembered the first one?" He asked grinning.
"Yeah" I nodded
"I'm glad" he bit his lips and my eyes travel to it.
Of course I'll remember every moment with Javier because every moment is worth keeping for.
"Tayla!" Someone familiar called me from a far.
I saw Mateo waved his hand and run down the stairs.
I looked at Javier but his eyes are focused on the upcoming person.
"Hey Guys!" He waved at both me and Javier. His lip is cut and his chin have bruises.
"Can I talk to Tayla for a minute?" Mateo asked Javier.
"Not a chance" Javier responded.
"So you guys are dating now?" Mateo asked.
Silence. Theres nothing to tell. I figured Javier just doesn't want to remake what happened last night.
"Hmm No. Thought so." Mateo's smug on his face makes Javier's jaw flinch. "I see there is no reason for me not to talk to her. Isn't it?" Mateo asked Javier.
"Jav I'll see you later okay?" I turned around to smile to Javier to let him know everything is fine. I'm fine and that what matters the most.
Javier smiled at me but left without a word to Mateo.
