he kisses my finger tips softly

"i'll be okay my dearest love"
he says as there is tears running down my face

"i'm sorry" she states closing her eyes letting the tears pour out.

"darling, don't be sorry for anything." he shook his head and planted small kisses on my inner hand.

"i'm sorry for yelling, i'm sorry for hurting you, i'm sorry for not saying i loved you sooner, i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry" she whispers but enough to where he could still hear

"angel, sweetheart, don't be so hard on yourself, i'm going to be okay" he smiles softly at her.

she shakes her head no

he nods yes

she choked out sobs staring into his beautiful doughy brown eyes

he stares into her beautiful eyes also,

"i won't ever leave your side" he smiles at her, not a big happy smile, just a simple meaningful smile.

finn was laying in the hospital bed, scared out of his mind, not telling y/n because he knew it would make her stress more and finn couldn't do that to the poor girl.

she sniffs up her last fear tears, her face stained red and her hands still shaking, blood shot eyes and a fear she might lose him.

he starts moving the hair that fell out of her braid out of her face and he slowly started singing to her

she smiles at him

y/n closed her eyes only to let a few tears slip out

please don't take, my sunshine away

he sang in his raspy voice but still sounding just as beautiful as an angel to her.

she slowly started fluttering her eyes shut.

"get some rest my beautiful angel, you have stayed up and worked for me for too long"

"but finn i-" finn cut her off

"now, now, a beautiful girl like you shouldn't be staying up late. gets some beauty rest." he slowly starts to lean up to kiss her forehead.

she realizes what he's doing and moves her head towards his pink plump lips.

she held onto his hand tighter

he smiled at her

once he was finished she slowly got up from kneeling over his bed and taking his hand and kissing it long.

he felt the tears that was on her cheeks touch his hand
he rubbed his thumb across her cheek bone.

"i love you my sweet sweet love bug" he smiled

"i love you too finn"

that night she went to bed peacefully in her own bed when she got a call from the hospital

"hello?"

"hi, is this y/n l/n ?"

"yes that's me"

"i'm so sorry but, he didn't make it through  the night-"

before she could finished y/n dropped the phone and ran out the door in nothing but spandex and a old calpurnia t shirt finn got her when they first met

she ran

ran to the hospital

she ran in those doors and ran up to his room not caring about the voices telling the crying woman to come back and wait her turn

she ran into his room seeing finn

not only finn, him attached to cords and wires

pale skin and open eyes

not blinking.

she pushed everyone out of the way as they were trying to get her back

she was being held onto by two doctors

"finn! no! finn please! you are my sunshine! my- my- only- let go of me!" she cried as finn never moved.
