Jack's face lit up as a beautiful, curly-haired girl appeared on his screen. His breath caught in his throat as he looked upon the young beauty in front of him.

Gabriela was very tan, probably from surfing in the sun often. She had a cute, round face and a very boopable nose. When the sunlight hit them perfectly, her eyes were golden-brown, very close to the color of honey. Her light brown hair hung in beachy curls down her back. She smiled gently at the boy through the screen.

Across the call, Gabbie was also having trouble speaking as she stared at the handsome boy. She had seen his pictures on Instagram of course, but talking with him through a phone was very different. He had very straight brown hair that stood up but was slightly hidden under his hoodie. His large chocolate brown eyes were soft and sweet.

"Hey," Jack finally said, breaking the comfortable silence. "Gabriela."

As soon as her name left his lips, Gabbie's plump lips spread into a nice smile. "Hello, Jack. Nice to finally talk to you."

Jack's heart sped up, Gabbie's sweet voice like music to his ears. How is she so pretty? Gabbie laughed and blushed, looking away from the phone and tucking another strand of her long hair behind her ear.

"Oh, did I say that out loud?" The boy looked down at his hands, embarrassed.

The girl nodded, but laughed. "You're pretty handsome yourself." The pair looked through each other's eyes, a mini-staring contest happening. A few minutes passed without either teen noticing because both were in a trance. Nothing could break the caring and loving gazes sent between these two young adults. Neither knew it yet, but they were both falling in too deep.
