Two months went by since I had last seen Snart. Lisa occasionally would stop by to stay a night or two at the studio, being careful not to say anything about her brother. The only thing I knew was that he had left town. Part of me wanted him to stay gone, feeling like that would make things easier, but the other part of me wanted him to knock on my door and give me that lame 'I was just in the neighborhood' excuse. After the day Leonard left me on the side of the road I started to drown myself in my artwork to distract myself from the thoughts of him. In the beginning Barry continuously tried getting me out of the studio to hang out with him and his friends, but I always said no. Eventually I gave in and agreed to meet up with him and Cisco for drinks one night.
When I got to the bar Cisco was already there. I took a seat next to him and ordered a beer.
"So, how are you and Captain Cold?" he asked, trying to fill the silence.
"Pretty damn cold." I said, taking a big drink from my beer.
"Well, that's what happens when you date a criminal." He said, not noticing the mood that I was in.
"No, that's what happens when you're put in a situation where you have to pick who you're going to betray out of the two people you care about in your life." I said angrily.
He was silent, not knowing what to say. He took a drink of his beer and pulled out his phone, trying to distract himself until Barry got there.
A bartender walked over to me, setting a drink in front of me, "What's that?" I asked.
"A man bought it for you. He didn't leave a name, all he said was that you'd know who it was from." He explained.
I looked down at the drink, it was a shot of whiskey. Memories of that night with Snart came flooding back. I looked around the crowded bar and saw no one familiar. I sat there, staring at the shot. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even notice Barry had shown up. I tuned out his and Cisco conversation, still thinking about Snart.
"Hi. I don't normally do this, but I was watching you, and," she paused, "can I buy you a drink?" A familiar voice asked. I looked up, seeing a blonde woman standing on the other side of Barry. It took me a second to realize that it was Lisa.
"Uh, wow. I mean, I'm really flattered, but I-" Barry was saying until Lisa cut him off.
"Actually, I was talking to him." She gestured to Cisco.
"Um.. I'm- I'm sorry, you said- you said you were talking to me?" Cisco stuttered out of surprise.
"Yeah, I just told my friends over there that I thought you were cute and they dared me to come over here and talk to you, so... please talk to me." Lisa said sounding innocence.
"Yeah. Yeah, I suppose I can talk to you for a little bit." Cisco smiled, trying to sound cool. He muttered something to Barry.
"Yeah, I was just leaving." Barry stood up.
I stared at the shot for a moment. Snart was back in town. It was clear to me that since he kidnapped Caitlin last time he was going to kidnapped Cisco this time. I regretted betraying him last time and I sure as hell wasn't going to do that again. I grabbed the shot and threw it back quickly, swallowing the warm alcohol. I stood up, looking at Lisa.
"Be safe," I smiled. She smiled back at me.
"Oh, I will." Cisco responded, thinking I was talking to him.
I walked to the door, looking around to see if I could see Snart anywhere. He was nowhere in sight. I took a deep sigh and walked out of the bar with Barry. I gave him a hug and went back to my studio.

I spent most of the next day typing out multiple text messages to Lisa but I always ended up deleting them before I hit send. Lisa loves talking, especially when it came to boys. If she's went this whole time not bringing up her brother to me it had to be because he didn't want her talking to me about him. Just then someone knocked on my door. My heart started to race. I wanted it to be Snart more than anything. I raced over, opening the door. It was Barry. My heart sunk.
"Did you know Snart was back in town?" He asked.
"I haven't seen him in two months."
"Well he's back and him and his sister kidnapped Cisco! You have to help me find him!"
"No." I said sternly.
"What do you mean no? He's our friend, Grace!"
"No, Barry. They're your friends. I've gotten in the middle of you and Snart before and look at how that turned out for me! I'm not doing it again!"
"What do you mean how that turned out for you? You got Caitlin home safe!"
"That's all you noticed wasn't it? You didn't even bother to ask how it turned out for me. As long as everything goes your way you don't care. When I saved Caitlin I only did it for you and in doing so I betrayed Snart's trust! I haven't seen or talked to him in two months and not only did I lose him but I might as well have lost my best friend too. I hardly even see her any more and when I do I can tell she's keeping secrets from me. They were more of a family to me than you have been and I betrayed them for you, Barry! I'm not getting myself into this again!" I yelled angrily.
"Your friend? Her name is Lisa isn't it?" I could see something click in Barry's head, "I'm assuming as in Lisa Snart. She was the girl that came up to us at the bar last night. You say you don't want to pick a side, but you picked a side the moment you didn't say anything when you saw Lisa last night." He sounded hurt, turning around and slamming the door behind him as he left.
I felt as if any decision I made it was the wrong one. I was tired of being back in Central City. I even thought about leaving again, but I was tired of running from my past and the people I knew. I took a deep sigh, grabbing my jacket and walking to the bar a few blocks away.
When I got to the bar memories of the first time I came here with Snart popped into my head. I sat down at the counter and ordered a beer. After a few moments someone set their elbow on my shoulder, leaning on me. I looked up to see Lisa.
"Fancy meeting you here." She smiled, sitting down next to me.
Someone else grabbed my other shoulder and next thing I knew my beer was gone. I knew who it was before I even turned around.
"Thanks for the beer, Snart's Girl." Mick smiled, chugging my beer.
"I'm not his girl!" I said angrily. I ordered another beer and started chugging it.
"Sure you are!" Mick said, reaching out for the last bit of my beer. I slapped his hand away. Mick huffed and took a seat next to Lisa, setting his heat gun on the counter.
"You got your gun back?" I said confused, then noticed the new gun strapped to Lisa's hip that I hadn't seen before, "ooh, that's why you guys kidnapped Cisco this time." I smiled, finishing my beer.
"Also, Barry knows that my friend named Lisa is actually the one and only Lisa Snart." I said, causing Lisa to laugh slightly.
"I'm assuming he didn't take that too well?" She asked.
"Nope, he almost took that just as bad as when I told him I wouldn't help him find Snart. I'm tired of being in the middle of those two." I said shaking my head.
"Thank you." Lisa said.
"Don't mention it. I should get going anyway." I stood up from the bar and walked out the door.
