Author's note: the mindcrackers will be notified of other people's deaths in the same way tributes are notified in the Hunger Games, with a cannon and a death Recap at sunset. Also this is the first chapter where the realism will begin to show itself.

Kurt, Bdubs, and Pakratt all ran to the nearest trees to them and began to gather wood. it didn't take long to get Pickaxes, Regular Axes, and Swords for the three. While gathering wood, Pak found an apple in a tree. he climbed up and picked the apple off a branch, before announcing it to his teammates. "Be sure to hold on to that should we find any gold," Kurt reminds Pak.
Time passes
After they gather food and equipment, they begin to look for a cave, finding one shortly. They set up a base of operations near the entrance, and seal off the entrance so other players don't enter while they are working. They upgrade their tools and begin to search a little deeper into the cave. However, a small way down the cave decides to dead end.
"So, do we just branch mine for a cave?" Pak asks his teammates. "We don't quite have any other option unless we wanna find another cave." Kurt answers. So the three branch off mining in a stairway leading down. Bdubs is the first to find a cave, so the other two leave their mines to join him.
His mine led to a large open ravine a short way in the cave. The three stepped out to the ledge of the ravine and looked down to see if they could spot any valuables by the lava bed at the bottom of the ravine. Pak, having a keen eye, noticed some gold near the lava floor. So he sent Kurt up to go get water to reach the base. He shortly returned with a bucket for all 3 of them to eiminate the lava flooring. Kurt also got some sand so they could find out how deep the lava was. Pak and Bdubs made their way to the lava, which turned to Obsidian as the water touched it. Kurt had passed some sand to Bdubs to see how deep is was, as Kurt stood guard up top should a mob decide to follow them. Bdubs placed the sand on the edge and it fell into the lava. it was pretty deep. "We can't gather obsidian here unless we have a death wish. we'll just have to go find another pool." He said to Pak who was collecting iron to obtain the gold they came for.
Kurt looked around to see if there were any mobs. he noticed an opening off to his left, so he entered and gave a quick scan of the area immediately in the entrance. he noticed some of the stone walls further down had moss on the walls, and that meant one thing: mob dungeon. He yelled to Pak and Bdubs that he found one and the two of them came up to help him out. He led them to the opening he found and there were already skeletons coming around the corner where the moss was coming from. 4 of them. They closed the entrance to formulate a strategy.
