Upgrades

Realizing they had brewing stands, but no items to make health potions with, the team decided to head back underground to find an abandoned mineshaft. They begin to dig their way below the surface. After a couple minutes of digging, Kurt opens up into a spiderweb-filled room, meaning he had found one. He goes back up and calls to his teammates to tell them that he found one. Pak and Bdubs join him and enter the room. They break through the spiderwebs and open up a mineshaft. "Okay, we'll split up here. Meet back here in 10 minutes." Pak suggested. They all three agreed and went their separate ways.

Kurt's primary focus was not to find chests for melons, he knew both Pakratt and Bdubs would be looking for those. He was eyeing the walls, ceiling, and floors for any Gold, Lapis, or maybe even Diamond. Going in, he initially found plenty of Iron for an Anvil, but no Gold, Lapis, or Diamond yet. He did however collect spiderweb string to make bows with, so he'd at least come back with something beneficial. He gathered 9 string so they could each get a bow, and continued deeper. He did come across a couple chests, however, with combined findings of a small number of Lapis, and a larger number of Gold than he expected. No melon seeds though. 

Bdubs had branched into a completely different section of the mineshaft, and his end had many different twists and turns. He managed to get lost quickly and easily. He yelled behind him, "KURT!! PAK!!! CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME?!" He waited a few seconds. No response. Just his own voice echoing throughout the mineshaft. He sighed. "Hell's blazes...." He said to himself. He decided to go back and see if he couldn't get any closer to where they began. 

Pakratt had managed to gather plenty of gold from the mineshaft, and even found a couple melon seeds. He had what they came for. He began to turn back, when he saw that there was one more chest beyond a Cave Spider-infested hallway. He debated as to whether or not it was worth it to try to go after it before he decided he'd just dig around the Spiders. He began to make his way around the spiders, making it through effortlessly. He looted the chest and found TNT inside the chest with a piece of paper that read, "<3 - Seth" and all of a sudden, he heard a tnt block ignite. "CRAP!" He exclaimed before he bolted through his tunnel. He got a good distance away before the TNT ignited and exploded so loudly, both Kurt and Bdubs had heard it. Pak had gotten a little singed from the explosion, leaving him weary. 

Both Kurt and Bdubs began to dig towards the explosion they heard, reaching the remnants of the explosion shortly. They found Pak shortly, and asked him what happened. Pak explained his story to his teammates. "So that means Seth, MC, and Aurey aren't far." Kurt realized. "I say we head on up, get you fixed up Pak, and go hunting for people next." Bdubs commented. "I agree. Let's get some potions going first though so we will be set for our next battle." Pak responded.
