Going Deeper

Bdubs helped Kurt and Pak get back up to the top entrance after they took Mhykol's gear from him. Bdubs took Pause's equipment as well. They did, however, lose Adlington's materials as he was thrown into lava. So they would have to continue looking for more iron to upgrade their armor.

After they all got settled down, Pak turned to Bdubs. "Okay, question. How the heck did they get in here? You were supposed to be standing guard. I mean, it's great that we killed them and all, but how did they get past you and you're still alive?" He questioned. "uh, haha, it's funny you ask..." Bdubs nervously responded. "Where were you?" Pak repeated himself. "I was... maybe sorta kinda.... exploring the mob dungeon." Bdubs nervously answered. Kurt spoke up. "You know that place is dangerous. Those skeletons could have killed you." "But I'm not dead!" he responded, trying to defend himself. "I just wanted to see if there was any gold or iron in the dungeon chests! And, in fact, there was! It was a two-chest dungeon and both chests had 3 gold in them! and one chest had 5 iron and 4 Lapis in it!" Pak calmed down about it after he heard what he found. "You found Lapis?!" Bdubs passed him the lapis lazuli. "Well how about that?" he said in disbelief. "Still, it's awesome that you found all that, but you still could have gotten killed. Next time, try to be a little bit more careful." 

The group put it behind them and headed deeper into the cave to find more iron and gold to create more armor. They also found a fair helping of diamonds as well. By the end of their spelunking, they had enough Iron to make each a full suit, diamonds for 3 swords, a pick, and an enchantment table, and gold for 5 apples. They agreed that they should go to the Nether to obtain potion brewing materials as well. Kurt gathered the obsidian and built up the portal while Bdubs got a piece of flint out of a pile of gravel. They lit the portal and headed through. 

Once on the other side, they checked their surroundings and made sure they were safe. They were surrounded by zombie pigmen, but they knew as long as they didn't hit one, they would be alright. But they also knew they had to watch each one carefully, as any one of them could be Zisteau, who was not only a strong foe, but also had very powerful teammates in Etho and Doc. They traversed the land, looking for a fortress. They found one shortly enough, and began the hunt for a Blaze spawner. It didn't take them long to find one. After grinding for Blaze rods, they went further into the fortress to find Nether Wart. after they found it, they began making their way back. As they returned to the entrance of the fortress, Bdubs looked outside to see if it was safe. It was not. There was a large number of Ghasts flying around. They all saw him step out and shot fireballs at him. "HELL'S BLAZES!!!" he yelled, sprinting back inside. He told Kurt and Pak about the Ghasts. This was going to be more difficult than they realized.
