Mindcrack UHC season Fanfic

The Escape

The three were inside, formulating a plan to get past the ghasts. Kurt had the idea of trying to get invisibility potions, but the nether didn't have the materials to brew it. They were stumped. 

Suddenly, a fanfare sounded and the Nether's eerie red sky lit up with a blue light. The death recap! It had been a full day since they killed off Mhykol, Pause, and Adlington. They looked outside and saw the ghasts were distracted by the death recap, currently recapping Adlington's death. They had time to reach their portal. They took this to their advantage and bolted to their portal before the recap ended. 

They landed on the other side of their portal, panting, Exhausted after running like that. They stood up, and caught their breath. "You guys okay?" Bdubs asked? "All good..." Kurt replied. Pak couldn't talk as heh was panting, so he flashed a thumbs-up. They took a break and began to work on potion-brewing. They couldn't get any health potions yet, as those required melons. They brewed what they could before continuing on. 

Before they headed up, a Boom sounded. A few secconds pass. Another Boom. 

Boom.

"That's four deaths!" Pak said in shock. "That means if two teams found eachother, there's two incredibly geared up people out there." Bdubs said. "Either that, or it was Guude and Vechs who ran into another team." Kurt responded. "Maybe. I've still got my bets on two incredibly geared out guys." 

Time Passes

Nightfall. Time to see who all had fallen. They headed up to the surface to watch the show. The first face to show who had fallen was AnderZel. Next to it was Vechs's face, symbolizing that Vechs killed him. Then came AvidyaZen, and next to him was Guude's face. Next was Vechs, with Arkas's face next to him. Finally, Arkas appeared with Guude's face next to him. Four people entered, one left. Guude. The display faded. 

"And once again, Guude is left by himself." Bdubs jokes. "Yeah. I almost feel bad for him, this happens to him in every team UHC. I'd know. I was with him in one, and I ended up leaving him alone as I died as well." Pak responded. Many people have died at this point, but there was still a long way to go before this UHC would end.
