chapter 3: hanging with ian

Ian's POV:
It was now 9 pm and I was sitting on the couch talking to all my friends while Lucy was snuggled up against me. It felts amazing to have her in my arms. She is so beautiful. Every once in a while I would look down at her and give her a quick kiss. I am so happy that Lucy is finally mine. I love her!

Lucy's POV
Cuddling with Ian is the best feeling ever! I love him so much! why did I wait this long to tell him that I liked him? After an hour more of talking and laughing everyone decided to go home. It was now 10 pm and everyone was getting there stuff together to leave. I said to Ian "uh hey Ian?" "Yes babe." He said. "Would you want to spend the night over at my apartment?" I asked nervously. "Of course!" He said while giving me a peck on the lips. We said our goodbyes and walked out of shays house hand in hand. Once we got outside we realized that we both brought our cars here. I suggested that we drive in my car and we will come back and pick up his car tomorrow. He agreed. He insisted on driving so I let him, and we drove off. While he was driving he kept looking over at me and smiling and it was the cutest thing. He put his hand on my thigh and kept it there while he was driving. Once we got to my apartment, being the gentleman he is , he ran over to the passenger side and opened the door for me to get out. I smiled and got out of the car. We walked up to my apartment holding hands. Once we got inside we went over to my couch and sat down. "Do you want to watch a movie?" Ian said. "Yeah sure." I responded quickly. He picked out a movie and put it in, and we sat down on the couch cuddling again, watching the movie.

Ian's POV:

It was a little after midnight when we finished watching the movie. I looked down at Lucy. She was asleep. I decided I didn't want to wake her so I carefully picked her up and gently placed her down on her bed. I got undressed until I was only in boxers, got into the bed and under the covers, and cuddled up against her. I had my arm around her and it felt so good to be falling asleep next to the love of my life.
