「 My gecko :( 」

okay so about 4 years ago my brother comes in the house and goes "lol just bought a leopard gecko" and he was like "don't know its gender tho"

so that day forward this formless blob (i love you if you get that reference) was known as "trent"

so i named it "Trent" as a joke and it stuck. but my brother hated the name trent but everyone else called it trent and my brother would always say "its name isnt trent!" and we would be like "lol whatever"

so once we found out Trent was, in fact, a woman, she rebranded to the name 'Captain Crunch'. Or just 'Crunch' for short.

so my brother was like, "once we train her, shell be able to just chill on you and not run away." so after a while he would just take her out and set her on his stomach and he would watch Netflix and she would sit and watch with him.

i always hated feeding her because she eats meal worms, which are these tiny worms that you pick up with tongs, dip in calcium powder, and stick them next to her face. she is also so picky with her worms because they have to be alive and moving a lot or she wont eat them.

but speaking of wont eat them, (OH MY GOSH THAT WAS A HORRIBLE SEGUE I HATE MYSELF) she hasn't eaten in over a month and im really upset. like as im typing this im about to cry.

but shes sooooo skinny. her tail is where she's supposed to store things and its super skinny and her spine is sticking out and she looks so sick and im really about to cry as im typing because Crunch is so precious and we all love her but she just refuses to eat and im worried :(

edit: she died a couple days ago :( she was really sick so its better for her not to suffer anymore.
