Carls POV
I blushed a deep red. What am I doing?
"U-uh sorry..."
She looked at her feet and pulled her legs up to her chest.
"Um I don't think it's the best idea to become friends carl."
She got up and I grabbed her arm.
"Chloe-"
She yanked her arm away harshly and said
"Don't touch me."
She walked away.
Chloe's PoV
I walked out of my cell and rolled my eyes.
I grabbed my knife from my belt and walked outside. I saw Carol and Axel (one of the prisoners) talking and Beth holding the baby.
Carl walked out and went to Beth and talked. I used my vamp hearing to eavesdrop.
"What am I suppose to do now?" I heard Carl say but I was cut off by a gun shot. I saw Axel fall to the ground and multiple gun shots fired.
I saw Beth and Carl run behind a wall.
The governor was here.
