Daryl POV
"Chloe!" I yelled as I ran around the fences. I fought back the tears, she will get through this, I know she will.
"Bring her inside! NOW!" Rick yelled. I picked Chloe up in my arms and ran to the prison. Rick was covering me. Merle following close behind.
I saw Carl in shock when he was opening the other gate that separates the yard from the prison. I ran through and set her on the ground.
I heard Glenn pin Merle to the fence. I couldn't care less right now.
"She is my niece! BACK OFF!" I heard him scream at Glenn.
"Cmon Chloe" I whispered to her while checking her pulse. A felt a very slow heartbeat. Hershel ran up to her and tried slowing the bleeding with bandages and cloth.
The thing that killed me the most is that I did this to her. I felt guilt wash over me. Fuck
"Daryl!" I heard Carol yell. I blinked as a snapped back to reality.
"Daryl? She's going to be ok!"
*1 or 2 hours later*
I've been sitting on the floor next to her the whole time. Hershel looked up at me and said,
"The arrow pierced her in the side of her neck. she's healing very quickly. She's going to be fine."
