Chapter 30

30th Chapter surprise! 😘 Extra long chapter...

Chloe's POV

There stood Damon and Stefan, eyes wide.

"What did you do!" Damon yelled at me. My eyes widened and I answered,

"I-I don't know! She was helping me find Rebbekah and then she said that Daryl was messing it up. Then she just dropped! Shit..."

Stefan dropped by my side with some herbs. He brought them to her nose and her eyes fluttered open. She shot up gasping for air, a look of horror on her face. She shuffled away from me.

"wait Bonnie, what's going on? Tell me." She looked between Stefan, Damon, and I and gasped out,

"The witches aren't letting me, they threatened t-to burn my eyes out. I've been using to much dark magic." I breathed out in dissapointment. How am I supposed to find Rebbekah now? I sprinted off, leaving them behind. I ran to a decent hospital nearby and went through their blood banks. I grabbed all the bags of blood and stuffed them in a bag.

So many bags of blood. But they are probably all stale. But they will still be fine to eat, just not as good as the chilled.

I grabbed one and drank all of it down to the last bit. Black veins were under my eyes. I am not in the mood. I should just give up on finding her and go back to living on my own.

I am back to living in the trees. It has been summer for a month or so. I left all of my stuff back at the prison so I had to collect a bunch of more stuff.

I haven't heard or seen a sign of Daryl or Rick or Carl or anyone in that matter. I saw smoke in the direction of the prison.I sprinted there and saw dead bodies and fire and a tank. Walkers were everywhere. I heard Rick screaming Carl's name.

I saw Judith's crate. I took Judith and sprinted out of there before Rick saw me.

I have been looking for my mom. All around the area but there is nothing. No sign of her anywhere. I worry about Carl every single day but I don't know why. Who even knows if he is alive or dead.

1 more month later

I'm kind of giving up on this whole goose chase. I mean seriously, if she really loves me, she wouldn't have left me and pretended she was dead. She wouldn't have lied to me about Daryl.

Right now I'm walking to this place called terminus. Just because there is nowhere else to go. I have a weird feeling about it though. I was getting close.

I used my super hearing and heard bob's voice. My eyes widened.

"Please, you don't gotta do this. There is a man who knows a cure. We just have to get him to DC."

That was coming from the direction of terminus. I sprinted vamp to it and grabbed a gun. I glanced around the surroundings. There was a gas tank in the corner. I also saw a herd of zombies coming from that direction also.

I heard slicing and the sound of bodies dropping to the floor. My eyebrows furrowed in disgust. Cannibals. I had a feeling something was wrong with this place.

I put the gun away and grabbed a grenade from my pack. I have 5 seconds after I pull the handle.

I acted quickly, I yanked the handle and threw the grenade at the tank the hardest I could. Which is hard because I'm a vampire.

I covered my eyes and Judith's and heard a huge explosion. I glanced back and saw walkers roaming inside searching for a meal. I sprinted inside a room. I saw people's belongings. Daryl's crossbow. He's here. What scared me the most was if I was to late.

I grabbed everyone's stuff and sprinted back into the woods. Judith was in my arms and let's just say it was really hard holding all of that.

I heard Rick and a bunch of other people killing walkers.

"Chloe?" I heard Carol's petite voice. I whipped around and smiled when I saw her.

"Carol!" Her eyes watered up when she saw me. She motioned me to follow her.

I ended up following her to a home/shack. I saw Tyrese walk out and when he saw me, he smiled.

"She had Judith. Did you feed her? Change her?"

"yes yes yes." I smiled. I handed judith over and set everything down. I walked over and hugged Tyrese.

"Glad to have you back kid." I smiled and said,

"same. Stay here, I'll go get Rick and everyone else."

They nodded. I grabbed Judith and started walking towards the group. I heard them talking in the woods. They were planning revenge.

I walked through the trees and saw them, yet they haven't seen me yet. I walked forward a little bit more, letting the leaves crunch.

They all turned my direction and froze. Dad smiled big with tears in his eyes. Rick ran up to me and hugged me and Judith, Carl is still frozen. I handed Judith to Rick and hugged Dad.

"Chloe, I missed you so much." he whispered in my ear. I pulled away and looked at Carl. I shot him a small smile.

I looked over the group, and when my eyes glanced past Olivia, I remembered. I completely forgot.

I gave her a small smile to but quickly looked away. I hugged everyone else.

I noticed a group of people behind her. People I don't know. I stepped back and grabbed for my knife.

"Their our friends." Maggie said. I bring my hand back.

"Did you do that?" Rick asked me.

I nodded and said,

"Follow me. There is something I want to show you."

I led them to Carol and Tyrese. Many hugs were made. I still haven't said anything about me knowing that Carl kissed Olivia.

I don't want to start any drama right when they get here. It's great to be back.
