○A New Chapter Begins: The Chunin Exams!□

"Y/n, let go of me," Sasuke spoke. I shook my head, "You haven't let go of me since we got back. I need a break," he said. What he means is, I haven't stopped hugging him anywhere he goes... Okay, I let him go for like a few hours so he could be by himself...

"You almost died, I can't leave you alone anymore," I said as he dragged himself over to the kitchen, "But I'm fine now..." he muttered. I then let go, I looked at him, "I swear, Sasuke if that happens again, I wouldn't know what to do," I said as I put my head down.

"You crybaby, I won't die as long as you're alive. I promise that" he said in a harsh tone. Harsh but caring words, "Now, let me go, cook," he added before walking away. I sighed and nodded, "Hey, cheer up, I won't die," he told me as I walked away. 

"You're important to me, Sasuke. I can't let you go that easily," I muttered before leaving the house.

I saw Shikamaru watching clouds so I joined him, not that he noticed me until I said, "Clouds are pretty aren't they?" If he wasn't laying down, he probably would've jumped 5 feet in the air, "How long have you been there?!" he exclaimed, I counted my fingers, "Eleven minutes," I said, he raised a brow, "You don't have eleven fingers."

"Oops,"

He gave me a 'what is wrong with you?' look then watched the clouds again, "You put your bangs to the side today," he acknowledged, "Yup, I was taught to embrace my weirdness," I said proudly. I then remembered something that happened on the Bridge.

Flashback

Once we walked off the bridge, Kakashi told me something I could do. "Since Sasuke awakened the Sharingan, you could probably copy it. Although, I'm not sure since I'm not in your clan I don't know... just a suggestion," he said.

Flashback End

I can try... hehe... 

We stayed silent as we watched the clouds a bit more. I then started whispering a song, then I accidentally went louder, "Don't be mad that I fucked your dad," Shikamaru looked at me, "You fucked my dad?" he asked with a look of disgust on his face, "Eh, sorry yeah I did," I lied. He pretended to puke, "I'm kidding, it's a song," I said and he calmed down. 

"Y/n! You made me picture that!" he exclaimed. "But, Y/n Nara, doesn't that sound nice?" I asked he shook his head rapidly, "Wait, Shika! You pictured me naked! I feel so blessed," I joked. I saw his face turn red, te tire to say something but his mouth just shut and closed. We stared at each other for one more second until we looked at the clouds again, we then both stopped talking.

"Hey, Shikamaru," I started after a long wait, he turned to me, "What would you think of me with Sharingan?" I asked looking at him, "Well, I'm not sure. You'd be pretty powerful, wouldn't you?" he asked making me s shrug. "You could copy it, right?" I shrugged again.

"I was just asking your opinion. Maybe I could look like a female Sasuke," I joked. He didn't laugh, "You are close to him, aren't you?" he asked, turning to look at the clouds again, "Practically since birth," I answered, "What a drag . . ." Shikamaru muttered.

"Don't worry Shikamaru, you will always be my BFF, Sasuke can't take your spot," I said proudly, "What about Naruto?" he asked cautiously, "Nope! You're number one!" I exclaimed. He then started asking about all the other boys. 

I sweat-dropped, "Shikamaru-"  "Y/n! Remember what Sensei said? We might be late!" Sakura exclaimed as she pulled me up, Oh yeah... the group meeting for something... "Sorry Shika gotta go," I said before running off with Sakura.
