Chapter 4

Lyn's POV

Hindi ko maiwasang hindi maging bitter sa tuwing nakikita ko silang masaya. And everytime we're on a group study, I can't stop myself from asking those pathetic questions.

Paano kaya kung si Rhen ang pinili ko noon?

Naging sila kaya ni Kim ngayon?

Ganun rin kaya niya ako kamahal kagaya ng pagmamahal niya kay Yoona?

I brushed those thoughts away as I shook my head.

Weekend ngayon! Kailangan kong magpakasaya.

I am currently walking alone papuntang sine.

Yes, alone for that good-for-nothing Rica chose to date Jungkook rather than her best friend.

I was about to roll my eyes when I saw Rhen walking towards my way. It seems like he didn't saw me so I approached him first.

Napatigil agad ako nang marealize ko ang gagawin ko.

Bakit ko siya lalapitan?!

Baback-out pa sana ako pero nakita niya na ako kaya napilitan akong kawayan siya.

"H-hi," utal kong sabi.

His brows raised skywards upon seeing me. Well, I wasn't expecting such reaction.

"Oh! It's you."

Kalmado niyang sabi, quite the opposite sa naging reaksyon niya kanina nang makita ako.

"Going somewhere?"

"Hmm," tumango siya. "Study date with Yoona. We'll meet up over there."

Tinuro niya ang lumang payphone sa unahan. Tumango narin lang ako saka napatingin sa mga dala-dala niyang libro.

"Date? With books?"
I asked with a wide grin.

"I see. Couple goals, ah?"

"Yeah," he smiled. "How about you? Going anywhere?"

"Yeah. Gotta watch that new movie, World War Z."

"Cool! With who?"

"With myself, of course... not if you come over."

I grinned. I just hope he'll say yes. I know he loves zombie movies and I'm pretty sure he have not watched it yet since Jungkook is pretty busy these passed weeks.

He looked at his watch with a hesitating look as if he's counting the time.

"How long will it take again?"

"Prolly 2 hours?"

He sighed.

"Okay, that would kill my time while waiting for Kim's piano class to finish."

Napangiti nalang ako.

"Shall go then?"

"I guess—"

Hindi ko na siya pinatapos at agad na hinila papasok ng sine. My extra ticket is supposedly for Rica but since she's not coming then I'll give it to someone more valuable char.

Sorry, Kim, pero pahiram muna ng boyfriend mo, a? Kahit ngayon lang?

Rhen's POV

I don't know how many times I cussed since we came out of the cinema. I'm alreay 27 minutes late of heaven's sake and thanks for the most reliable signal, I can't even contact Kim. I hope she's not mad!
