The Apartment

Dianne💋 we were driving though a super posh neighbourhood I was looking out the window just aimlessly staring into the distance.
Ellie🌝 "hey di guess who's just text me"
I was getting so many texts from everyone word had obviously got out that we were 'missing' we had people texting us stuff like 'why have you done this' then others that are like 'please come home we all miss you'
We were getting texts from people we hadn't spoken you in years. Funny how when your so far gone that's when people realise.
I waited a couple of seconds for Dianne to ask who but the answer never came
"Dianne?"
She was just staring out into the distance, she looked so upset and glazed over.
Joe🎮 "Dianne Ellie's talking to you"
I said tapping her out of her Day dream
Dianne💋 "oh sorry, what was that?"
I felt bad that I hadn't been listening but I knew Ellie would understand and I shyly asked what she meant
Ellie🌝 "guess who I've just got a text from?"
I saw that her eyes were really puffy and it looked like she was holding back rivers of tears,. Now I knew Dianne more than anyone so I knew to ignore it and ask her in private later
Dianne💋 "ooo who?"
Ellie🌝 "Steph"
Dianne💋 "Noooooo wayyyyy!!!!"
Ellie🌝 "yep"
Zoë🎄 "wait should me and joe know who Steph is"
Ellie🌝 "oh yeah, Steph lived next door to our nan for years when we were younger and she would always leave us out of all the games and she was like the street bully. I remember times when we would go running into the living room because she wouldn't let us run through the sprinkler"
Joe🎮 "that just goes to show how Australian you are!"
Dianne💋 "what do you mean"
Joe🎮 "running through a sprinkler! I love how you said that so casually. Hardly anyone bothers with sprinklers because as soon as you buy one they'll be rain"
Ellie🌝 "so you have never experienced getting home or wherever running upstairs changing into shorts and a vest top and knocking on everyone's doors to come and run through the sprinkler!! Dam you missed out"
Zoë🎄 "Dam joe I think we did"
Ellie🌝 we continued in the car for another five minutes before me and dianne being told to shut our eyes as we pulled up into an apartment basement car park.
"So we're here then"

The Apartment Block

Zoë🎄 "so you wanna go upstairs and then we can bring the bags up later?"
Dianne💋 "yeah come on let's go explore!"

We got the lift to the ground floor and had a chat with the apartment receptionist {it's v v posh} and she said how everyone in the block got free use to the gym and pool Ellie found the thought hilarious but I was thinking how I could do with getting more into fitness
Ellie🌝 "do they have a dance studio?"
I knew how much Dianne loved dancing and how a couple of years ago she had to give it up.
I saw Dianne give me a beaming smile
Receptionist❓ "yes they do, it's a booked studio but we probably get one booking a week, it's always free"
Dianne💋 I was so happy that Ellie asked and I was super happy with the response. After we walked to the lift and made it to outside our apartment.
"Come on then let's see what it's like"
We put the lock in the door and we were shocked with the site that welcomed us.

I wander what they saw! This is me slowly coming back. Thank you all for your patience recently I REALLY appreciate it! I also know how you love this ff and don't worry things between joe and dianne will elaborate soon because after all it is a joanne fanfic!
