Ellie🌝 as soon as I left the dance studio I regretted it, I couldn't let Dianne be on her own. She needed me and I just shouted at her. I couldn't go back in there. I just had to trust that she wouldn't be too long.
12:55pm
Ellie🌝 I had taken the slowest walk back upstairs. I was stood outside of the apartment. I knocked on the door and Zoë answered. I just burst into tears.
I walked over to the sofa I sat on there and burst into tears
"I'm such an idiot"
Zoë🎄 "no your not, what's happened?"
Ellie🌝 "no trust me I am"
I explained to Zoë and joe what happened and they both agreed that I wasn't stupid and they could see how Dianne would understand.

No Dianne
2:00pm
No Dianne
3:00pm
Joe🎮 we had all been trying to get hold of her none of us could, not even me. We had all searched the building multiple times. Until my phone buzzed. I reluctantly picked it up not really wanting a text from anyone but Dianne, fully knowing that she wouldn't text me.

"Guys I got a text!!!!"
Ellie🌝 "WHAT DOES IT SAY!!"
Zoë🎄 "well read it out then"
Joe🎮 "what do you think I'm trying to do, okay this is what she said.
I have something I need to say:
I'm sorry, yes you all probably think I'm overreacting, I probably am. Please don't wait up for me. Go home go to sleep I will see you in the morning, Zoë and Joe it's fine you can go home. Ellie I'm sorry I understand that you are only looking out for me and I'm sorry for lying to you. All my love Dianne, see you soon xxx"
I noticed that there was a last bit on the end.
'Joe you can stop reading it out now. Out of everyone I know your worried, out of everyone I owe you an apology and explanation. That will come I promise. If you can wait for me that is. Xx Di'
I felt like I knew what it was like to loose her now and I NEVER wanted that to happen.
"Well what should I say back?"
Zoë🎄 "shit forgot you would have to reply, errrm Ellie?"
Ellie🌝 "that she needs to fucking come home, don't say that. Say that, erm, oh I don't know!"
Joe🎮 "I'll reply"
I knew what I needed to say to her but not what anyone else could know about. I managed to find something to write to Dianne.
"How's this?
Dianne, no one is judging you, all we want is for you to be safe. We don't care about what you've done etc, look please come home we are all worried shit. All our love (especially mine)"
Ellie🌝 "take out the bit where you said we don't care about what she's done"
Zoë🎄 "ELLIE!"
Ellie🌝 "fine keep it in, I care, she's killing herself. I'm sorry but you can understand why I  don't like it! Zoë if joe promised he would stop smoking and then he continued to do it, in secret with NO BODY knowing, wouldn't you not care?"
Zoë🎄 "fair point"
Joe🎮 I added a bit onto the text
'Dianne, I need you. You need to come home. Please. I've learnt something tonight, something that I can't tell you over text. Please babe,I need you, fuck it you've been smoking, so what. I don't know what else to say xxx Joseph'
She immediately replied back with
'DONT READ OUT LOUD
Please joe go home you and Zoë, when I come home I only want Ellie there, well I don't want anyone there. Shit now I sound really mean, I'm sorry, and joe I've learnt something too xx'
"Zoë should we go home? Diannes asked us to, she might come home if we aren't here"
Zoë🌝 "I'm not leaving Ellie, joe you go then if she does I'll leave straight away"
Joe🎮 "fine, I'll see you at home later"
I walked out the door and continuously tried to get hold of Dianne. I looked on snap to see how long ago she opened it to see if she was on the snapmap. I saw that she had opened it 'just now' when looked she was at the back of the park,it was only round the corner so I started running.
3:45pm
I was running through the park and I saw Dianne at the back with her back towards me. I slowed my pace down
"DIANNE"
Dianne💋 I heard someone calling my name I chose to ignore it.
Joe🎮 "DIANNE, you cant ignore me!"
I walked up and sat on the other side of the tree
"So what's wrong then"
Dianne💋 "joe don't, I've already made a fool of myself you don't deserve this, please go. And no don't panic I'm not going to kill myself"
Joe🎮 "fine then, well I'm just a boy sat here then"
Dianne💋 "fine"
4:00pm
Joe🎮 "they're worried sick Dianne, well Ellie is anyway" I broke the silence
Dianne💋 "okay, are you gonna stay there?"
Joe🎮 "yep, well I'm staying here until I walk you back to the flat"
I quietly got my phone out
Joe- Zo, she's with me. I've found her, I'm trying to convince her to come back to the flat. It's gonna take some convincing, I'll text you when we are by the entrance you go down the stairs and we'll take the lift then I'll meet you at the bottom x
Zoë- okay, well done Joseph! X
Joe🎮 "well I've text Zoë and she's leaving, when you go back it will just be Ellie, i won't even come in"
I wanted to cry inside. I decided that I would crawl round to face Dianne.
"Right you don't have to look at me for this bit. Well it's best you probably don't"
Dianne💋 "joe"
Joe🎮 "no me first.."
Dianne💋 "I don't care joe, I love you alright! I love you"
I said it, what I've been embarrassed to say to anyone. I started to realise how I needed to get home.
Joe🎮 "well I mean I was gonna do a big dramatic speech about you but do you know what Dianne, I love you too, I love you more than you love me"
Dianne💋 "I think that's pretty impossible"
Joe🎮 "I don't, if you did then you would understand what you need to do"
Dianne💋 I pulled my bag over and got the makeup pouch out
"I'm not smoking don't panic!"
I pulled the box of cigarettes out, I managed to slip one up my jumper. All the rest I threw in the bin. I say all the rest there were 4 left in the box. I grabbed lodes of gum and put it in my mouth, I walked round the other side of the tree and changed my top. Just so that it didn't stink of smoke.
"You ready then"
Joe🎮 "Di I've been ready for you to come home since you left for the dance studio"
I held my hand out for Dianne and walked her back home

I've been thinking about this for a while, my fanfic is something different. I've not seen anyone in the joanne fandom do anything do anything like this which makes me wonder if I am doing something wrong. However I will not be stoping because this fanfic is what's keeping me going at the moment. But! I want to start another on the days that I don't post. One: would you read it. Two: what would you like to see. Three: what are your opinions on What We Have Is Priceless? And what do you think I should change
