In a town called Niles, which is in the state of Illinois and not to far from Chicago, the biggest city in the state, the day was April 4 and flowers were in bloom and trees had leaves already because of the unexpected warm weather from the previous month, when the weather weather would be usually chilly before the first day of spring and there was a house on the southwest corner of Madison Street and Oriole Avenue that was 8,514 square feet had seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms, the main level had a staircase that led to the second level and another set of stairs that led to the basement, two bedrooms, an indoor pool, office, atrium, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room the second level had four bedrooms and one was the master bedroom and a loft, there was a basement aka the lower level and it had a recreation room, game room with some pinball games, exercise room and a theater and it was 12:53 PM.
Standing near the entrance on the first level was a heavyset woman with brown hair, green eyes and she was decked out in a jacket, black t-shirt, black trackpants and sneakers. Her name was Abby Lee Miller, a dance teacher for her studio that's named the Abby Lee Dance Company and she was waiting.
"Cam, you ready?" Abby called.
Seconds later, coming down the stairs was a young man with chest length jet black hair around 17 and hazel eyes named Cameron aka Cam and he is Abby's son, actually, he is her adopted son because Abby adopted him at birth. Cameron was also attending high school and was a senior, which meant that he would be graduating soon and his school was on Spring Break.
"Ready when you are, mom." Cameron answered.
Abby smiled and wrapped an arm around him. "Let's do it."
Abby and Cameron both exited the house and were in the driveway and parked in the driveway was an silver Escalade, which is an SUV that Abby owned. Abby got in the driver's seat and Cameron got in the passenger seat. Then once the dance teacher put the key in the ignition and turned it, the vehicle came to life and they headed out.
Eight minutes later, they arrived at the Edison Park train station on Metra's Union Pacific Northwest line between Chicago and Harvard/ or McHenry and once they parked, Abby and Cameron got out of the vehicle and they were there because they were going to head downtown Chicago and they stood on the platform and saw the headlights approaching them, which meant their train was about to arrive.
"So, where are we gonna go first when we get to Oglivie Transportation Center?" Cameron asked.
"Maybe we can head to the John Hancock Center on Michigan aka the Mag Mile." Abby told him.
"Sounds good, we can catch a 157 Streeterville CTA Bus to get there." Cameron stated as their train arrived, they got on and showed their tickets to the conductor and around 1:33, they arrived at Oglivie Transportation Center and once they got off their train, they exited the station and went to the Canal & Madison bus stop and as they arrived, a 157 Streeterville/Taylor bus pulled up and they got on the bus.
Minutes later, they got off the bus at Mies Van Der Rohe & Delaware and walked to the John Hancock Center and it was across from Water Tower Place, which is a shopping mall and they went downstairs and got passes to head to the observation deck, which was on the 94th floor.
"Good thing that we brought some gum to prevent our ears from popping because this is a fast elevator." Abby said.
"About as fast as the elevator at the Sears Tower." Cameron commented.
"You know it."
Abby and Cameron then walked to the elevator that would take them to the 94th floor and it only took them nearly 40 seconds to get to the floor and once they arrived, they got off the elevator and looked in the western direction and Abby sat on the bench.
