Chapter 10: Ringer Showdown

In Akron, a town in Ohio, the bus that has the Abby Lee Dance Company was seen pulling up to the entrance of the Civic Theater, where Nexstar was going to be held at and the first ones to get off the bus was Abby, Cameron, Julie, Gianna and then the girls and moms, they got the bags from the bus before going in and it was also the rematch between them and the Candy Apples, who beat them in New Jersey at the last competition of the first half of the season.

"This is cool." Cameron admired the statues, then he turned to the girls. "Don't touch anything."

"What he said." Gianna said.

"This is Cathy's home turf?" Julie asked Abby.

"It is." Abby answered.

"And i know you want to beat her bad since she beat you in New Jersey."

"We sure do and we aren't gonna let Cathy beat us again." Cameron stated, then he turned to Abby and Gianna. "Mom, Gia, i found out on the way here that this competition is ahead of schedule 30 minutes, so we need to get the girls ready and i mean quick."

"Thanks for warning us." Gianna and Abby told him.

"No problem."

A minute later, they were all in their dressing room and Chloe and Paige were getting ready for their solos and were already in their costumes.

"Paige, remember where the judges are." Abby told Paige.

"Got the memo, Miss Abby." Paige responded and Abby gave her the thumbs up.

Back outside, another dance team was seen arriving and they are known as the Candy Apples Dance Center from Canton and leading the way was Cathy and with her was her daughter Vivi, Kerisa, Sarah, Erika, Taylor, Justice, Kendall and their moms and also with them was a guy named Mitchell, who is a friend of Cathy's.

"Stay together." Cathy instructed.

Back in the ALDC dressing room, Kelly was talking to Paige.

"Keep going over the dance in your head."

"Mom, how many more minutes do we have?" Cameron asked.

"Two minutes." Abby answered and once Chloe and Paige were done running through their solos, they went to the stage and Abby, Cameron, Julie, Gianna, Maddie, Mackenzie, Nia, Brooke and the moms all went to their seat and sitting behind them was Cathy, the CADC moms and other dancers as Kendall was waiting to do her solo and Cathy noticed Julie.

"Coming up in our junior soloist division we have Fields Of Gold by Chloe from the Abby Lee Dance Company!" The announcer announced as Chloe walked on to the stage and she began dancing to the music and she did good with her solo despite some flaws, then she completed her solo.

"Next up is Illusion by Paige from the Abby Lee Dance Company!" Paige walked out to applause and she was in a starting pose, the music began to play and she started dancing, then Cameron was noticing that Paige was doing a completely different number.

"Mom, i don't know about you, but i'm noticing that Paige is doing a different number instead of the one we taught her." Cameron observed.

"I see it too." Abby said.

"Obviously, this is Kelly's doing if i had to guess." Julie commented.

"You may be on to something." Cameron stated as.

"Up next we have Kendall from the Candy Apples Dance Center with Caprice!" Kendall came out and was decked out in a front lined sequin poly/spandex and metallic stretch lace long sleeve retro leotard. She was in a pose and started her dancing once the music started and she was a hot mess from the start and the music skipped as Cathy asked Jill what was wrong with the music and Jill had no clue as Kendall kept dancing to the end of the music and left the stage.
