The Adopted Son of Abby Lee (Dance Moms Fic)

Chapter 8: Waterford Energy

The Abby Lee Dance Company's bus was seen in Waterford, Michigan and was arriving at where Energy Dance Competition was being held at and once they arrived at the entrance, they got off the bus and Julie, Gianna, the girls and moms all went to the dressing room as Abby and Cameron went to check the other teams out after getting them signed in.

"They came here to supposedly to beat us and from what i'm seeing so far, i'm a little worried." Cameron observed.

"Me too, they're fierce." Abby admitted.

"Hopefully the girls don't let us down." Cameron added

"You got that right." Abby said, then they went to the dressing room that the girls are in and they looked at the program to see what would be first.

"All right, i've checked and our first routine is gonna be the duet "Plot Twist" by Maddie and Chloe." Julie informed as Maddie and Chloe were stretching, they were already in their costumes and had their hair and makeup done and once they were done, Abby checked the music and the stagehand told them that their duet was coming up.

"Come on, you two." Melissa said as she, Julie and Cameron were standing at the door with Gianna. "Are you coming, Kenzie?

"Yes." Mackenzie answered.

"Come on, Kenzie." Cameron stated as Mackenzie walked with them and went to the audience as Maddie and Chloe were in the wings of the stage and Cameron, Julie, Gianna, Mackenzie and Melissa were joined in the audience by Abby, Holly, Kelly, Christi, Brooke, Paige and Nia.

"Judges, please welcome to the stage in our duet/trio division, Plot Twist by Maddie and Chloe from the Abby Lee Dance Company." The announcer announced as Maddie and Chloe were on the stage in their poses, Chloe was near the front of the stage while Maddie was in the middle. From the moment the music started, the two were dancing in syinc and the crowd was loving it and at the end, they posed and got cheers and left the stage as Christi and Melissa smiled over at Abby and Cameron.

"Mom, they danced so well, if this doesn't win, then there is something wrong." Cameron told Abby.

"I agree." Abby commented.

"They still connect so well." Julie stated.

"They've been friends since they were little." Christi said.

"You bet." Melissa added and once they were backstage, Abby and Cameron came in last and hugged Maddie and Chloe, Julie hugged them too.

"Maddie, Chloe, you two remind me of me and Cameron when we were younger doing duets. He and i usually did romantic duets because Abby knows we connected." Julie stated and that made Cameron's face go red as she smiled over at him.

"They sure do." Gianna agreed, then the girls began getting ready for the group.

"All right, the group is next." Abby informed everybody.

"Moms, get the hair and makeup done." Cameron added and the moms got the hair done and it didn't take long until the girls were ready and headed to the stage as Mackenzie was in the audience with the moms, Abby, Cameron, Julie and Gianna.

"Judges, please welcome to the stage in our junior small groups, Luck Be A Lady by the Abby Lee Dance Company!" Applause was heard and the music began and coming out first was Maddie, then Brooke, then Nia, then Paige and finally Chloe. The girls all danced and they did their group dance well.

"I believe this is a winner, i do not care what those moms think." Julie said.

"I agree." Abby stated.

"You know it." Cameron commented and once the group dance was over, it was time for the group and duet/trio portion of the awards and they started with the duet/trio division awards and places 10-4 had passed and went into the top three and third place passed.
