CHAPTER 14: Gift

LISA's POV

I'm on my way to the dance studio to practice some dance moves for our debut stage tomorrow. Rose and Jennie stayed at the auditorium to finalize our songs. I heard someone talking inside.
"I like you!" the girl said.
"Let's not talk about it now." the boy replied.
"Why? Is there someone else?"

l did not hear a response anymore so I continued walking and bumped with a guy as he went out from the first door of the studio.
"I'm sorry" I said.
"Watch your steps" he said. I looked at his face and recognized him as BTS Jungkook. The door was widely opened and I saw Momo inside.
"Jungkook? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Why? is the studio belongs to you?" he replied.
"I am not saying that the ---"
"So, next time, don't ask me why I am here" he inserted and left.
"Why? There's nothing in here that says I am not allowed to ask!" I shouted. He never turned back and he successfully annoyed me. I searched for Momo inside but I failed to find her. I went in to the second room and spent my entire afternoon practicing our choreo.

Someone knocked the door and it was Jisoo. She asked me a favor to do the dance with her. After five rounds, we concluded our dance practice and had some rest.

"I'm nervous for tomorrow" she said.
"Because of the Spotlights? Cameras? Stage?" I asked.
"Yes. It keeps flashing back"
"But, you're not doing it alone tomorrow. We are performing together. Perhaps, you did well last Monday. Don't tell me is it because of Tae?"
"*silent."
"Be honest with me Jisoo, are you falling in love with him?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know? Is it possible?"
"I think so. I don't know but I admit --- everytime I am with him I am so comfortable. No fear, no pressure, everything is just very light."
"So you're not comfortable when you are with us?"
"I am. What I mean is --"
"I am just joking. Jisoo, I can see how genuine you are when you're with him. Those smiles in your face last Monday, show that there is no more fear inside your heart. You know what, after learning about your accident, I want to see that smile from you and I should thank Tae for showing it to us."

She smiled at me and hugged me. I assured her that being with Tae is not a problem at all.

It's Thursday morning and Nayeon posted on her instagram account a cake sent to her by BTS as a gift for their comeback. She also posted with it some photos of other gifts she received from Tae before.
