Chapter 7 Worse

(Andrew's POV)

I woke up with my mate and my little sister by my side. His warmth was radiating off of him

They were both asleep. Their chests, rising and falling at an even pace

Crixus had his arms wrapped tightly around Andy's stomach. Her body, cradled next to his and for the first time in a long time, she looked happy

She wasn't scared or ready to attack the next person that laid a hand on her. She was just...there

She was happy, safe, and whole. Just as I felt

Silently, I cuddled up to my mates side, laying my head on his chest and extended my arm over his abs

I laid my arm gently on Andy's hand. I slowly took her hand in mine and caressed little circles into her skin. She shivered slightly, smacked her lips. She was turning towards me and also laying her hand on Crixus' chest

I looked up to make sure that we hadn't disturbed him, but he was already looking down at me and my sister. He was pensive and looked slightly irritated

"What has got you two so scared?" he asked me, realizing that I too was awake

I couldn't answer him. It wouldn't be fare for Andrea. It wasn't my story to tell

"It doesn't matter now...we have you to protect us" I told him, turning on my back, to look up at the smooth, blank ceiling

"I hope you know that I will find out soon enough" he told me, turning on his side to look at me

I chuckled dryly, knowing that my sister was right

"I know. But the longer that you spend in the dark, the longer we will have for you to love us. Then once you do find out the truth...then maybe you might just ask us to stay" I whispered, closing my eyes

I felt the bed dip and then felt his body slowly climb on top of mine

"Is it really that bad?" he asked me. I could feel his cool breath, brush my skin as his bare chest, pressed against my own

I opened my eyes and took the opportunity to take in his chiseled jaw and perfectly straight nose, alone with his wrinkle free eyes and his gorgeous steel blue eyes. He was hosting himself up with his elbows, to keep from crushing me

I sighed deeply and then shook my head

"It's worse" I said

I know it's really short and it's a bad chapter, but you all wanted a chapter, so here it is
