I jumped up out of my dream and raced to the bathroom. On the way, I tried my best to avoid every obstacle that I could hit my toe on. Once in the bathroom, I quickly bent down in front of the toilet and let it all out. Morning sickness was far from my best friend, and better yet, killed my enthusiasm to become a mother. I mean, I'm kind of glad and nervous at the same time for this little life I'm responsible for, but then again, it's driving me insane the way leaning over this toilet every now and then like a fire hydrant.
After it was all out and I felt a little more relaxed, I got up off the floor, flushed the toilet, re-cleaned it, and washed my hands. Taking my sweet, tired time back to the my room, I looked for my phone and then found it laying on my nightstand. I picked up, finger already pressing the home button to look for any new notifications. I had messages from both parents talking about the whole moving thing and how they might not be back by the time I move, but will visit my new home. I just rolled my eyes. It's like they don't even care anymore. They have great businesses going on meaning more money and less family time. I just continued scrolling down my lock screen trying to avoid a bad mood.
Below my parents messages were messages from Rashad. The latest one was a good morning text with cute emojis. I smiled, and probably blushed, at my boyfriend. Quickly sliding his message to the side to read it, I impatiently waited the two seconds for my messages to load. Once completely loaded, I instantly replied back with twice as much emojis. After I was done sending the message, I locked my phone and slid it into the pocket of my pajama pants.
I walked out the room and down the stairs with nothing but food on my mind. Since my mom wasn't home to cook breakfast, looks like it is up to me again. I wasn't really in the mood to do a big breakfast so I just got down a bowl and poured me so cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, specifically.
After pouring my bowl and eating it on my way to the couch, I plopped down comfortably and turned the TV on. The first thing I saw was something about two models. It showed them model on a really pretty runway with a bunch of people and flashing lights. I always new that was life I was meant to live.
The headlines read 'Models Give Up Fame'. The reporter spoke on how they reached a certain amount of pay and then quit. Mannn, once I get in there, no amount of pay will ever be enough. A little extra cash never hurts. After seeing enough about that, I would check my phone every now and then to reply back to Rashad. He asked when I would I be ready to start moving my stuff over. I checked the time and it was already 11am. Usually I would still be sleeping but we had plans to turn up good tonight before catching the early plane in the morning. I decided it was good to start now so I text Mel and let her know. Now all I have to do is get ready.
***(A/N): I don't feel like talking about how they moved furniture, lol. So I'm just going to skip to the end. This chapter might be a short. Anyway, back to the story.

After undoing my bed frame, loading up dressers and thousands of clothes and shoes, we were all set. We had already brought the stuff over to Rashad's house and put it back up. The only thing that didn't stay was the bed. That got tossed.
We all rested on Rashad's couch, Rashad, Mel, Cam, and I, sipping our refreshments. Water for me. We decided instead of turning up, we would chill at the crib considering everyone was tired after moving all my stuff. I thanked everyone for helping and Rashad for letting me stay with him. We all coupled up and curled up and watched Ninja Turtles. Rashad was Leonardo, Mel was Raphael, Cam was Donatello, and I was Michelangelo. Michelangelo had always been my favorite so I made it clear that that was me.

We were 30 minutes into the movie when I had sharp pains in my stomach. I let out a hurt groan and clenched my stomach, squeezing it tight. The movie paused and everyone's attention was on me. The pains grew worse by the second. Mel rushed over to the light and turned it on. As soon as it flicked on, she gasped and covered her mouth. And opened my eyes and stared into my lap and the pool of blood.
I felt the tears start rushing down my face as I started bawling. Rashad held me. "I'm gonna go help her get changed. You guys get the car ready. She has to go to the hospital." He said calmly yet nervously. I still looked down at my lap in shock.
There's no way...

I laid in the hospital bed devastated. I just lost my baby and didn't even get to find out what it was. Everyone sat around me like sad puppies. My eyes were still extremely puffy from crying so much. Rashad reached up and grabbed my hand. "We're gonna be alright." I glanced at us holding hands. I wanted to believe him but I was at the point where I didn't know what to believe.
I just stared at the coffee table on the other end of the room that had a card on it. The card was decorated with baby bottles and was signed by almost all of the nurses saying "Sorry for your loss".
I just hung my head low, because I was sorry too.
