The preparation

School has started and Peyton and Maleficent are packing their bags to go to school in Luna Ville in the alternate Earth through a portal in Pennsylvania.
The phone begins to ring, [Peyton] Maleficent steps away from the phone and hastily packs up her things. " I hate answering phone calls, and Peyton knows that she is probably trying to multitask while packing up her things."

Maleficent closes and zips up her suitcase and thinks about something else, remembering to contact Peyton after she was finished packing.

Maleficent opens up her messages.

[Maleficent] (Are you ready to go to University?)

Maleficent lays on her bed waiting for her friend to respond.

[Peyton] ( Yeah, I'm very excited to go.)

[Maleficent] ( We earned it.)

[Peyton] ( Meet me at the Greyhound station.)

[Maleficent] (Ok, but where exactly do you want me to meet you?)

[Peyton] (You'll meet me at Tim Hortons I always have to get my morning coffee, because I'm a zombie without it.)

"Alright, I'll be there in half an hour, I just called a taxi.

"While in the car, Maleficent starts to play out the events that could happen when she's at the school.
She thinks about whether she and her friend Peyton will have the same classes. Or if people will like her, and accept her for who she is even if she's not into talking about boys, makeup, and sharing her life on social media. She just wants to be treated like a normal student.
"Peyton has always stuck up for me and if I were to lose her; I'd have an emotional breakdown. She's the only one who understands me. Even if I were to have a friend, it's less likely that they would be interested in my conversations and show empathy for what I'm going through. I would rather have zero friends than be friends with someone who can't relate to me. And when it gets like this there's nothing to say and I'm just sitting in silence with the other person struggling with trying to choose words that can spark a conversation, and when that happens I panic and blurt out things from my personal life, I already give one-word answers and have a body that says that "I don't want to make friends"(death stare). Me and Peyton went to school together and I feel comfortable when I'm around her and she accepts me for being myself.
"We're, at the greyhound station ma'am; that will be $50,"the taxi driver said.
Mal pulls out $50 and ¢75 for the tip. Maleficent grabs her luggage and enters the greyhound station.

When they get there they utilize the wands that they were given to carve out a portal. Once completed they had made their way to Luna Ville.
