One early morning at the St. James house, Rachel came down the hallway to her parents' bedroom to wake her parents up by bouncing on their bed. "Mum, daddy, wake up, it's morning, it's today! Today is the day!" She cries out in excitement.

Roddy and Rita both woke up by their daughter's bouncing. "Oh, good morning, Rayray." Rita said.

Roddy reached for the alarm clock to check the time. "You're up a little earlier than usual." He said.

Rita looked at the clock her husband was holding up. "Oh, yes, 5:50 in the morning."

"Yes, and today is the day we go out on our adventure together!" Rachel said.

"Yes, it is. Alright, since we're already up, let's go make some breakfast." Roddy said, getting out of bed along with his wife.

"Yes, and we'll be taking it with us to have breakfast with RJ, Heather, and the others in a few hours from now." Rita said.

"Yes!" Rachel said, jumping off the bed, following her parents out of the room to go downstairs.

"Now what should make a good breakfast for everyone, Rachel?" Roddy asked.

"Um, pancakes!"

"You want pancakes? Alright." Rita said.

"With eggs, too!" Rachel said.

"With eggs? Alright, we'll make some pancakes with eggs on the side." Roddy said.

"You wanna help out?" Rita asked.

"Yes, please." Rachel said.

"Alright. Come on, you little goofball." Rita chuckled, before she, her husband, and her daughter went into the kitchen.

Two hours later, Roddy and Rita got the pancakes and eggs ready when Rodney came out of his and Rachel's room in his pjs, slowly making his way down the stairs, looking miserable. Roddy looked down at his son, growing a big smile on his face. "Well, look who's finally up. Good morning, Rodney." He said, walking up to Rodney, picking him up, giving him a hug.

"Hi, baby. Good morning." Rita said, petting her son's hair.

Rodney let out a terrible cough. "Mummy, daddy, I don't feel so good." He said.

Roddy checked his son's temperature by laying his head on his forehead in concern. "Hmm, you don't feel warm. Are you sure?" He said.

"I'll get the thermometer to be sure." Rita said before running upstairs to her and Roddy's bathroom until she came back down with the thermometer and a flashlight in her hands. "Alright, Rodney, open up and put this under your tongue until you hear a beep." Rodney opened his mouth before Rita put the thermometer under his tongue until it made a beeping noise. Rita took the thermometer out of his mouth and looked at his temperature to see that it was only 80*F. "Well, that's a relief. No fever."

"But my throat hurts, mummy." Rodney said.

"Okay, let's have a look. Can you please give me an 'ahh?'" Rita said, holding up her flashlight and tongue depressor.

"Ahh..." Rodney continued, opening his mouth before Rita put the tongue depressor on his tongue, pressing it down so she can see the back of his throat better and flashing the flashlight in his mouth to see better until she turned off the flashlight.

"Hmm, looks like tonsillitis."

"What? Like what Rachel had last year?" Roddy asked in concern.

"Yes, and it seems like this little guy is getting it, too." Rita said.
