Puss in Boots and his new friends!

Chapter 15: Puss saves the day

Puss has been having a rough time this week after RJ won him a sports car through a lottery ticket, but when the He, Verne, and Hammy get kidnapped by The Toad, it's up to Puss and his friends to save them.

One nice Sunday day, the North Wind came over to Puss' house, ringing his doorbell before he answered. "Hey, guys, what brings you all here?" He asked.

Classified looked through the clipboard before he spoke up. "Congratulations, Puss in Boots, because of your lottery ticket, you have won a brand new red sports car." He said.

Puss stood there, in shock. "Really? I won a car?" He replied before he got confused. "That's weird. I haven't been getting any lottery tickets. How could I have won?"

"Well, somebody must've gave out your number from that ticket." Eva said before RJ came up to them, handing them the lottery ticket.

"That would be me. I made the phone call and have won you a sweet ride." He said.

"What?" Puss replied.

RJ turned to him, proudly. "You're welcome."

"But why? I don't know how to drive a car."

"You've never been taught before?" Corporal asked.

"No, where I came from, we would ride horses, by solo or by carriage or wagon, even sail ships. We didn't have cars." Puss said, shaking his head.

"Well, we can teach you how to if you want." Classified said.

"Okay, sounds like it'll be easy as lemon meringue pie."

Short Fuse scoffed. "You're cute. It's really not as easy as you think. It's harder than it looks."

Puss scoffed back. "Hey, if I can ride a horse by solo or by carriage, I can drive a car, too. Come on, how hard can it be?" He said.

During the driving lesson with the North Wind, Puss was driving nuts all over town, almost crashing into somebody or something. He almost hit a fire hydrant, and Buster, riding his bike, making him crash it into the same fire hydrant he almost hit, making it explode with water all over the sidewalk and the road. He almost hit Johnny, driving his black pickup truck, and he almost hit Ralph and Vanellope, while they were walking on the crosswalk, making Vanellope glitch when she got startled, which Puss had to apologize back to his friends while he drove, driving over traffic cone after traffic cone until he made it back to his house, which left him and the North Wind in shock before he turned to them, chuckling nervously. "So how did I do? Did I pass?" He asked.

"Do any of us know how to answer that?" Short Fuse asked, shaking in fear, hanging onto the seats along with Corporal before he started vomiting in his barf bag, he brought along while Eva had been calm the whole time.

Classified took a deep breath, gently letting go of the handle from the passenger seat he was sitting in, looking through the clipboard. "Well, since you've almost hit some of the people walking in town, along with nearby objects, like the traffic cones, I'm sorry, Puss, but you failed. Try again next time, okay?" He said, clicking his pen and checking Puss' driving test list.

"Okay. I guess driving is a lot harder than I thought. I'll keep trying until I get it right. I promise." He agreed.

"We know you will, Puss. We believe in you." Eva said, before she, Puss, and the rest of the North Wind got out of the car where they found Ralph and Vanellope, walking up to them, glaring at them, crossing their arms. Even Buster and Johnny were there as well, both crossing their arms, all crossed. Buster was holding a wheel that was attached to his bike, all drenched from the fire hydrant he ran into, wringing the water out of his clothes, shaking most of it out of his fur like a dog until it was dry.
