Chapter 30: Friends or foes

Alex, Gia, Puss, and Kitty's double wedding is coming up and they are very excited for them, but The Toad wants to destroy him, his friends, family, and neighbors for good. Puss has had enough of him, that he wants to get rid of him and put him behind bars once and for all, but when some of his friends and family get kidnapped by him, it's up to Puss to rescue them. Will he and Kitty ever get married along with Alex and Gia? Will The Toad finally go to jail? This is the final chapter of Puss in Boots and his new friends. Deep in the jungle, the friends were running through it from the lava that erupted from the volcano on a deserted island until they came to a cliff. Realizing that they were trapped, they held each other tight. "Gia, when I die, I just want you to know that I have always and will forever love you!" Alex said.

"Me, too, Alex!" Gia said, hugging Alex tightly while they were both in tears.

Kitty turned to Puss, all worried. "Puss, I'm scared. Is this the end? Because I'm not ready for it. We have a wedding to redo along with doing it with Alex and Gia and we have four kids to take care of and Perrito." She said.

"I don't know, but I guess we're gonna have to find out ourselves." Puss said.

"Don't worry, there's always another way. We just have to look for a rainbow around every corner." Perrito said, who was wearing a funnel on his head while drinking a tankard of root beer, letting out a hiccup as he giggled, which confused Puss.

"Perrito, why are you drinking root beer and wearing that funnel on your head? And at a time like this?"

"I don't know. I don't even know how I got here either. It's like we're stuck in some sort of dream portal or something." Perrito shrugged, continuing to drink his root beer, just before part of the cliff had a crack in it and broke off as the others all fell fast and hit a big rock that was in the ocean just before another rock from the cliff came down and everything went black.

Puss woke up and screamed, sitting up. Realizing he was sleeping in the living room along with his friends, family and neighbors, he sighed of relief, holding Platy tight just before he felt a paw touch his arm, which almost made him jump as he turned to find that it was only Kitty, who was laying down with the Diablos and Perrito.

"Puss, are you okay?" She asked, as Puss nodded.

"Yeah, just a bad dream about all of us, running from the lava in the jungle, falling off a cliff, hitting a bunch of rocks in the ocean, and dying. Also, Perrito was there, drinking root beer and wearing a funnel on his head." Puss said.

"Wait, I was? No way, that was just like last night during the party." Perrito said.

"Sounds like quite the dream you had there." Bolt said.

"Yeah, sounds like to me that you might be nervous for our double wedding, coming tomorrow, because I've been getting that same nightmare, too." Alex said.

"Well, at least it's all over and that it's just a dream. Now will you please go back to sleep? Unless you're planning to just stay to get ready before tomorrow." Mittens groaned, trying to go back to sleep just when Buster walked through the door, wearing his blue suit while holding two cups of coffee, one hot and one frappe, which caught Puss right away as he called out to him.

"Hey, Buster, you're usually here early sometimes, do you know what time it is?" He asked, as Buster looked down at his watch before he turned back to Puss.

"Yes, Puss, it's a half an hour after six. So it's still morning." He said.

"Okay, Thank you."

"Don't mention it." Buster said before he realized all the friends and neighbors, all sleeping in his living room as he let out a chuckle. "Quite the party you had there, huh, Puss?"
