Gintama :Remnant arc ch1 : if you go in a weird place, you'll get the attention

"Hey!! Be more careful with my stuff you idiots!!": says the old man Gengai.

"I am careful" says the white hair samurai, Gintoki Sakata "it's easy for you since WE'RE the one holding the boxes!!"

"Who told you that you can take a break ?" Argue the little Chinese girl yet, Kagura "Be more serious about you job Gin-san!"

"Says the one that is just sitting and eating some vinegar seaweed while we're the one working": says the glasses boy, Shinpachi Shimura.

It was a normal day in Edo, the odd jobs were helping Gengai cleaning up his place by taking out some of his junks while the old man is working on a new invention. And yet, there still arguing and screaming on who is not working well. Even poor Sadaharu, a giant white fur dog, can't get some sleep.

Gintoki: "Oi, old man, after that, we get paid right ?"

Gengai: "of course, as long as you guys don't break one of my stuff, we're all good."

[B]Few minutes later

Shinpachi: "And that's the last box"

The odd jobs finally put all the boxes outside Gengai's place. Gintoki can finally get the money and go to get some drink or play some pachinko. But Shinpachi notice something behind Kagura while she was petting Sadaharu inside Gengai's pace.

Shinpachi: "Hum, Kagura-chan. There's a machine right behind you".

As kagura turns her head behind her, then look down, she notice a weird square and flat metallic with some blue circles on it. As she pick it up, she begin to ask Gengai

Kagura: "hey old man! What is that plate ?

Gengai: " that ain't a plat, that a teleportation device"

Gin & Pachi : "another teleportation machine ?"

Gengai: "actually, that was my very first one, i totally forgot about it. It can teleport you to anyplace such as a planet or a dimension. Sadly it didn't work, I wanted to fix it but with all the stuff i have to make... maybe i'll fix it later. Put them with the other, girl".

Kagura: "sure do!"

The little chinese suddenly throw it like a frisbee, that put Gengai in full panic.

Gengai:" HEEEYYYY!!! DON'T THROW IT LIKE THAT!!! IF IT BREAKS, NO MONEY!!!

Gintoki:" WHAT???? QUICK SOMEBODY CATCH IT!!!

The 4 odd jobs start running to catch it but they won't make it in time. The machine went between the hands and the jaw of our heroes and was about to land and crash.

Shinpachi:" QUICK!!! SLIDE YOUR FEET UNDER!!! IT WILL BREAK THE FALL!!!

They slide all their feet and paw under the machine. It landed safe in their feet. But the machine begin the glow blue than a light blind everyone (except Gengai with his glasses), as the light fainted, the odd jobs disappear, leading only a square trace of burn where the 3 odd job and their dog were.

Gengai: "holy crap!!! It work?! Wait! Where are they ? Where's the machine ?"

Gengai approche the burning trace and scratch his beard

Gengai: " Ah crap!! Looks like a got to save them, once again."

Gintoki feels the sun hitting his face. He woke up, raise his head to see the kids are all right as well as Sadaharu, all waking up.

Kagura:"w-what happen ?"

Shinpachi: i remember, the machine light up and then..."

Gintoki: "hey guy, we got ourself a problem"
