Gintama - Remnant arc - ch8: all depends on what you wear for the ball

Team RWY and the odd job were working for the ball. Gin uses his wooden sword to put the paper chains on the columns. Kagura and Yang are bringing the huge speakers with their strengths. And Shinpachi is listing all the thing they have while Weiss is searching what could she do for the table's decorations. Except for Ruby who was glooming due to Blake's absent, which is noticed by Shinpachi and went to see her.

Shinpachi:"come on Ruby. Everybody's working. Usually, it's Gin who doesn't work."

"That's true!" Says the samuraï from the distance"but it's because Goodwitch would make things difficult for me"

Ruby:"i know, it's just...what's the point if Blake isn't here"

Shinpachi:"but we all try to talk to her and she refuses to hear us. Her condition his getting even worse, i don't know what-"

But Weiss interrupts them for some her own needs.

Weiss:"i need both of you to pick a tablecloth"

She shows them two cloth that are...actually the same grey color, which confuses the two.

Shinpachi:"sorry, but there's no difference"

Ruby:"aren't they both the same ?"

Weiss:"i don't even know why i asked you two."

The heiress march away with disappointment.

Shinpachi:"oi!! If she ask to anybody else, the answer will be too obvious!!"

Yang and Kagura arrive withe speakers, putting them in the ground. She walk next to her sister and friend and ask the little yato about clothing.

Yang:"so Kagura, what are guys gonna wear ?"

Kagura:"we draw some pictures of the outfits we wanted and give it to Goodwitch and Ozpin. I'm not gonna wear some stupid skirt...like Weiss"

Weiss:"hey!"

Ruby:"that's still not gonna fix that Blake won't come"

"You're still gloomy about this ? Being gloomy won't solve your problem" says Gintoki who arrive, while Shinpachi went to get more decorations. Yang notices what the heiress was doing.

Yang:"Weiss! I thought we agreed, no doilies!"

Weiss:"if i don't get doilies, you don't get fog machines"

Gintoki:"NO FOG MACHINES ??"

Kagura:"YOU REALLY DESERVE THE NAME ICE QUEEN!!"

Weiss:"oh be quiet you two!!"

The door opens, Sun and Neptune came to visit our heroes.

Neptune:"your dance is gonna have fog machines ?"

Weiss:"we were thinking about it"

Kagura:"lies!"

Neptune:"that's pretty cool"

Sun:"you guys all excited for dress up ?"

Ruby:"yeah right!"

Yang:"laughs all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night."

Gintoki:"today, we'll receive our costumes"

Weiss:"what are you two wearing ?"

Sun:"uh this"

Gintoki:"so you're going to the ball like this ?"

Neptune:"ignore him, for he knows not what he says"

Sun:"hey, i may have moved to Mistral but i grew up in Vacuo. So it's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kinda place"

Yang:"yeah, we've noticed"
