Gintama - Remnant arc - ch7: ask someone early for the ball

Few days have pass since the odd job, the Shinsengumi and Katsura are leaving in this new world. Today is practice in the stadium, and the Shinsengumi are assisting Glynda for shaping up the students for the up coming tournament. The match ended with Pyrrah won a flawless victory against Cathrin-i mean Cardin and his teammates CRDL.

Glynda:"and that's the match"

Cardin:"lucky shot..." and faint.

Glynda:"well done miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament"

Pyrrah:"thank you professor"

In the distance, the Shinsengumi were amazed in Pyrrah's fight.

Kondo:"so strong! Way to strong!"

Hijikata:"i guess we know why she's consider the strongest student here"

Yamazaki:"poor Cathrine, he would need a lot of training ahead, right Okita-san ?"

But Okita wasn't listening, he got earphone covering the sound of Pyrrah's battle, that is weirdly attach from his katana and he was chewing a gum and making a bubble out of it

Glynda:"alright, now i know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers ? Miss Belladonna ?"

Glynda:"you've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you-"

As Mercury descent to the stadium and prepare for battle, Hijikata thought of something.

Hijikata:"something feels off..."

Kondo;"i know...what kind of man would be name Cathrine ? It's a girl's name"

Hijikata:"NOT THAT!!"

And the fight starts. mercury was showing off his kicking style. But obviously Pyrrah was superior. During a moment, Pyrrah uses her semblance polarity to evade Mercury's kick. After that, Mercury smirk and it was notice by Hijikata. Pyrrah charge on her opponent but her opponent says something that nobody expected

Mercury:"i forfeit"

Pyrrah:"you, don't even want to try ?"

Mercury:"what's the point ? You're a world renowned fighter. We're obviously leagues apart."

Glynda:"in that case, Pyrrah Nikos is the victor the match, again"

It really upset Pyrrah. Hijikata notices how he and her teammate Emerald smile at each other, as if he got what he wants.

Glynda:"next time you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent"
