Kanika
With the corner of her eye, Alia kept on looking at me like she was to flow away from the doors as she found me nearing to AD.
I smiled and did reach out to them. AD turned to me smiling. I reciprocated it. But it burned me to see him hold her hand desperately.
Why wasn't I beside him?
"Kanika party is great." He turned to her, "isn't it Alia?"
She smiled at him and nodded, her eyes still darted me.
"Let's go." AD whispered in her ears just as he pulled her on the side of the wall towards the empty room, the same one where we resorted to when we were together to steal some beautiful kisses or even go rash on each other.
I looked at our friends and her bitches laughing and enjoying. It was incredulous how they got this comfort with my friends. How can Akash pat Abhimanyu's back like an old lost friend?
"Things need to get back as it was."
I looked at Dhruv who was leaning on the side of the wall holding a glass of coke and staring at me. I approached him.
"Are we clear about the things?" I asked him.
"I am. "
I turned to him and glared him.
"Then what the fuck are you waiting for? They are in that stupid cave and I doubt if they will come out anytime soon without reason." I hissed at him while he just furrowed at me.
"I know." He shifted on his legs.
"Well, that's comforting. " I said sarcastically.
"Get her out and I will take away AD while you keep her occupied. And I know you can't do that. So I will spill a drink on her so you take her in the room at the end of the hallway. While I work here. Do you get me?"
"Yes. " He nodded and looked at the door where AD went a few seconds ago.
"You can't." I rolled my eyes and paced myself towards the room and knocked it.
I impatiently waited for them to open the door. When it did open, I find an AD with his disheveled clothes. He rubbed his hair and looked at me with the dancing smiles blocking my entry inside.
"Yes, what?" He leaned more towards the door and waited for me.
I controlled my emotions and said, "Party is out of that room AD. Should you not come out?"
"Hah!" He exclaimed just as Alia appeared on the side of the door.
"My party is where there is this woman."He chanted looking at her eyes.
I turned away.
" Let's join others. Enough of it all Aditya. It's so stupid. I want to go home. " She brushed me as she strutted out.
"Alia. " Ad ran to her and held her wrist.
"My pretty beasty. Wait! " He chastised.
"I don't want you to to do that shit. Just stop it already. Let's go home."
What shit? And why go home before my works?
"Nope, no one is leaving early in the party. " Akash hovered over them. They got into laughing and chattering when I signaled Dhruv to begin.
" Yes. Let me get us some booze." I said.
Everyone looked at me frowning.
" You will when you like others do that for you mostly. " Akash chortled and I just glared him.
