"Morning Dad!" I shouted from the top of the staircase when I woke up the next morning. Yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions. But the best filled with all the best emotions.
Dad smiled when I reached the bottom of the staircase. He gave me a big hug and patted my back a bit hard. "Son!" He said when I pulled away. I gave him the biggest smile and he ran off to the dining room. "Hey Dad!" I shouted and ran after him.
When I got to the dining room, Dad stood there, an exact replica of the Kingdom Key in his hands. I gasped. "Woah Dad where did you get this?" I asked, taking it from his hand. I watched as the metal shone under the lights. Woah. I looked at the small Mickey Mouse head figure hanging from the handle. "Woah Dad how'd you get this?" I asked. Dad smiled.

"I pulled some strings for you. Say, how'd your sleepover go with her? You seem really chipper today, did y'all do the do?" He asked and I stuck my tongue out at him. "Ew gross no. Dad take a seat." I said and I He look at me, worryingly. He sat down by the table and I followed.
"She said that she likes me." I said and he jumped out of his seat. "AWSTEN CONSTANTINE KNIGHT." He shouted and gave me a bone crushing hug. "I am so proud of you. Wait what did you say back to her?" He asked, pulling away from the hug.
My cheeks turned red and I immediately knew that that was all he needed to answer his question. "So when are you gonna pop the question?" He asked. I shrugged. "Maybe I could take her out. Somewhere really nice and then I could ask her...you know. How'd you do it with mom?" Dad looked off into the dust distance and smiled.
"Since we started talking over the Internet, I was a chicken and asked her I've the Internet. Maybe you could just come over here and I could help you set up something really nice for her." I smiled. "Yeah. I could make it look really nice...like super nice. And then I could ask her." I said, smiling. I grabbed an apple and kissed my dad on the forehead.
"Did you fuck him?" I asked and Dad's cheeks went red. I punched his shoulder lightly. "That a Boy! I've gotta go pick Liam up. I'll see you after school, right?" I asked Dad and he smiled. "With Liam?" I headed to the door. "With Liam!" I shouted back and left the house.
I got into my car and drove off, listening to some Panic! on the way. I pulled up to Liam's driveway and hooted, knowing that it would only be her at home. I shoved the Kingdom Key in the backseat and covered it with the towel that I had lying around. I smiled when she climbed in the front seat.
"Hello Kairi." I said and kissed her cheek. I watched as she blushed. She smiled. "Good Morning, Sora. How'd ya sleep?" She asked as I drove away. I shrugged. "Eh. Okay I guess. You?" I asked, keeping my eyes on the road ahead.
"Okay I guess. I was just a bit lonely, you know?" She sighed. "Wanna stay over at my place tonight? My dad's gonna be home but you'll finally get a chance to meet him!" I smiled and she nodded. We drove to the school and a comfortable silence.
When we got to school, I got out quickly and opened the car door for her. She thanked me with a beautiful smile and I took her hand. We walked into the school, hand in hand, causing everyone in the hallways to quiet down. Liam just walked down the hall, her head held high, a bright smile on her face.
I did to. I was just happy to see her filled with so much confidence and happiness. When we got to her class, I turned around and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I'll see you in the Cafeteria, yeah?" I asked and she nodded. I left Go of her hand and I walked down the crowded hallway. "Hey Awsten?" Liam called from behind me. I turned around, the hallway suddenly stopped it's movement and turned it's attention to me.
"Have a good day." Liam said. I felt my cheeks flush red and I smiled. "You too." I said back to her, making her smile. I turned my back to her and left to go to my class.

When lunch rolled around, I ran to my car and got the Kingdom Key. I walked as slow as I could to the cafeteria, a couple students looking at me. When I entered the hallway to the cafeteria, I took a deep breath.
Otto and Geoff spotted me and ran out to the hallway. "Yo Awsten we got the shit." Geoff said, showing me the posters that they made. I smiled. One of them said Go to prom with me, Kairi? With a bunch of glitter around it. The second one read; i love spending time with you, Bunny. Go to prom with me? And that was written on a pastel blue board. The last one read; Please please go to prom with me, Liam. I really really really would love it if you went with me. Xoxo, your one and lonly, Awsten.
I wrote that one.
"Yeah and I've got the confetti cannon just like you asked." Otto said and I looked at him. "I didn't ask for a confetti cannon." I said and he just shrugged. "Guys I'm terrified. What if she says no?" I asked, looking at the Kingdom Key in my hand. "Awsten, She would never say no to you." Otto said, trying to reassure me. I nodded. "Yeah. And you're so close to her already, this should be no big deal." Geoff smiled.
"Thanks for helping me guys." I said and they smiled. We slowly stepped into the cafeteria, the room randomly falling silent. I had the Kingdom Key in my right hand and the sign in my left, both hidden behind my back.
I looked to the ground when I saw Liam's head perk up. Geoff nudged my shoulder when we got to her table and I looked up again.
"Hey Liam." I said and she looked up at me with a smile. "Hey Awsten, Geoff and Otto!" She chirped, making me smile. "What's up?"
"I, Uh, I wanted to ask you something." I stuttered. She tucked some of her hair behind her ear and I got down on one knee. She stood up and faced me.
I showed her the Kingdom Key and she smiled. "I uh, I got you this Keyblade." I said and handed it to her. She smiled and took it. "I wanted to ask if you could go to Prom with me? I mean, only if you wanted to." I asked her and showed the sign that I made. I watched as her brown hues ran over the words and how they darted behind me to look at Otto and Geoff holding their signs.
"Prom, Bunny?" Geoff said.
"Prom, Kairi?" Otto then added. Liam's looked back at me and smiled, nodding violently. She set the Kingdom Key down and took the poster from my hand. I got up and she threw her arms around me. I laughed, my nerves quickly turning into joy.
She pulled away, grabbed my cheeks and kissed me. Quickly. She probably remembered that we were in school.
