Falling ♡ Changlix

Closer

While the drive was only 6 hours with stops, to the four boys it felt like forever. The closer they got to the house the tighter Felix held onto whoever he was holding.

They were down to the last two hours. Jisung and Felix slept in the backseat cuddled up. Changbin slept with his head on Minho's arm.

Once they arrived at where they could get on the ferry they all got out. Changbin got them a room to share and they boarded. The boy climbed into the bed with Minho. While Felix and Minho napped Changbin and Jisung stuffed the plushes into Changbin's suitcase.

Changbin laid down on the bed across from Minho and Felix. Jisung sat on one of the chairs looking out the window. While they thought the ferry would take forever before they knew it they were there.

Minho let Felix get on his back. Changbin and Jisung got the bags while Minho carried Felix. They got a rental car and had Felix input the house's address again.

Changbin and Minho took the front seat because Jisung and Felix wanted to sit together. The closer they got to the house the less Felix talked. He watched out the window before noticing his reflection becoming blurry.

Changbin pulled over and got out, opening the back door. Felix hid his face from the three. Changbin pulled on Felix's arm. The boy resisted so Changbin pulled harder. The other two males got out and sat on the guardrail a few yards away.

"Felix stop it!" The boy stopped resisting.

"Look at me Felix," Changbin said.

"Felix what's wrong, look at me, please" the younger pinched his eyes shut.

"I'm scared... I don't want to lose her... She's like the only family I have..." Felix sobbed.

"Felix, no matter what happens we are here for you okay? You'll always have us, you'll always have me... We're not your blood family but we'll be your family, okay? You can count on us." Felix nodded his head.

"Thank you Changbin, I'm sorry..." 

"It's okay Felix, you don't have to thank me, you know that." Changbin pulled the boy into his chest and rubbed Felix's head. 

"Will you sit in the back with me?" Felix asked quietly.

"Yes, I'll get them." Changbin pointed at Minho and Jisung.

"Okay" Changbin walked to the two.

"Minho, Jisung, I'm gonna sit back with Felix, okay?" 

"Okay" the two agreed and all three got in the car. 

They were almost to the house. Felix got all his stuff together so he'd be able to take them inside and go straight to the hospital. A distant aunt met them at the door, she told Felix they only had his room left but the other three were welcome to spread out on the couches. 

They took everything upstairs and put it all in Felix's room. The four stretched out and Minho ordered food. Before they were gonna go to the hospital they talked Felix into eating something, so he wouldn't get sick. After they were done and everyone was dressed they drove to the hospital. They parked and the four went inside, Changbin held Felix's hand all the way to his grandma's room. 

Felix knocked on the door and peeked inside. His grandma was laying down and she appeared to be asleep until she heard the boy. 

"Grandma?"
