-------------- You were laying down on your bed looking up at the ceiling as your plucking at a daisy while lucas is sitting down by your window looking outside, clearly bothered.
You looked over at him and frowned, then sighed. "Lucas, you okay?" You questioned him as he looks down then back up slightly saying," yeah...im fine.." you werent buying it," lucAAAsss" "okay, its just- maybe trying something new like sports isnt really right for me.. i know nothing about it and ill probably make a fool out of myself, changing myself for someone else is stupid, why do i have to fall in love.." he says as hes fustrated and confused.
I sighed understanding what he's talking about.. in fact, i know how it feels to like someone but then realized they like someone else, watching them change for them, leaving you alone..yes, i am talking about him. You see, ive been here for Lucas since we were 5. The first day i realized i was catching feelings for him was when we were 12 and yes, hearing him talk about his love life does hurt me. But its okay...i guess.
"Yeah, changing yourself for someone else IS stupid. Like why? If she doesnt like who you are and then she can go screw! Knock her out of the ball park! Knock her out of Lucas's heart for goodness sakes..... You know, i would really like it if you come be a bug nerd with me again.." i turned my head to look at him, smirking while smiling a bit. He looks back at me before smiling and nodding slightly.
