jeongguk walked up and down the sidewalk, debating whether or not he should go into the cafe today.

specks of dust could be seen floating through the cafe as the morning sun shone through the cafe windows yet people just sat at their tables, totally unfazed.

the brown haired boy took a deep breath before opening the heavy, wooden door. despite planning not to eat for the next few days, jeongguk still ordered his fruit salad because he didn't want to break his one hundred and one day streak of ordering that salad at this cafe.

taehyung sat at the same seat, working on his art project. jeongguk gulped once he saw the older boy. he felt as if his brain was being pulled apart.

he still had his pancakes.

everything is ok.

everything is normal.

but as jeongguk approached the blonde haired boy; as he slipped into the studying area of the cafe, he realised that taehyung didn't have maple syrup on his pancakes like usual, he had chocolate.

jeongguk didn't know why he focused on that but, he was. his brain screamed as he sat down next to taehyung, who seemed to be in his own world. the sound of his copic markers against the paper calmed the younger boy slightly.

time passed and jeongguk was still staring at the pancakes. they were golden brown and matched the wooden table and taehyung's tan skin.

taehyung at first ignored the stares but after a while, he placed his coral pink marker and turned to look at jeongguk, who's computer still sat unused despite being here for a while.

"do you want something?" taehyung asked. his deep, velvet voice made jeongguk's heart to skip a beat and his cheeks to turn a bright red. "wait, let me reiterate....is there anything you need?"

head spinning from the lack of food, it took a while for jeongguk to realise what the cute blondie in front of him had just said.

"i...uhh...no sorry-"

but taehyung had already pushed the plate of pancakes towards him, causing a short trail fo chocolate to be left on the side of his hand.

"it's exam season and you haven't eaten much these past few weeks so have some of my pancakes, i don't mind."

head spinning, hands trembling, heart racing, jeongguk shook his head and pushed the plate towards taehyung.

"no."

jeongguk packed up his belongings as fast as he could. he didn't care what taehyung or anyone else thought. they didn't know what he was going through. they just want to make him fat.

with a loud sigh, taehyung plops down onto the leather couch that his roommate yoongi was currently asleep on

with a loud sigh, taehyung plops down onto the leather couch that his roommate yoongi was currently asleep on. missing his feet by a few millimetres, taehyung decides to tickle his friend until he woke up.

"fuuuuuck off kim!" yoongi groaned as he rolled back over, trying his best to suppress his laughs. "i'm going to kill you--"

taehyung giggled as he lied down on top of the elder male. while yoongi only took up three-quarters of the couch the younger male found himself taking up the whole surface area and, with his weight, he was squashing the blue haired male under him.

"no you won't," taehyung giggled as he sat up, causing yoongi to let out another groan. "hey, you know jimin right? that dancer from busan?"

yoongi nodded as he tried to sit up on the couch. his blue hair stuck up everywhere and taehyung could see some drool on his cheek. "why? if you didn't know he's already-"

the blonde haired boy scoffed as he punched the elder male slightly. "no i didn't mean that! it's just that i was wondering if he knew this boy...."

"do you know his name?"

"no, but i know what he looks like..."

"oh taehyung, you're hopeless."

but taehyung was to find out who this fruit salad boy was, no matter what.
