it had been a couple of months now.

jeongguk had started seeing a professional counsellor thanks to taehyung and was getting better slowly by the day.

of course, it was hard, but jeongguk kept going. and even when he had setbacks, he had taehyung and his newly found friends to support him.

yoongi had warmed up to the boy and had a secret soft spot for him (not that the elder will ever admit that, of course.)

and the best of all- taehyung and jeongguk were dating.

their one month anniversary was coming around soon, and they couldn't be happier.

taehyung and jeongguk both talked a lot about it- taehyung respecting jeongguk's mental health and even now as they were dating, he still respected that.

"my pretty baby," taehyung said as he looked at jeongguk. the pair were at the cafe again, this time they both had pancakes. "the pancakes here are the best, right?"

jeongguk smiled softly as he lifted up his fork and took a small bite of a pancake. inside he was still screaming and protesting, but he tried to push that aside.

"yeah- they are...now i see why you got them all the time," he giggled softly as he took another bite. "i-i'm so glad i met you."

"and i'm so glad i met you, baby."
