it had been about three days since taehyung had last seen jeongguk.
every day he went to the cafe. every day he waited for the boy.
yoongi scoffed as he looked over at the boy's pitiful expression. the elder was tired of seeing his friend mope around like he lost his puppy.
"he's probably overworked with assignments, tae," yoongi sighed as he laid back on their grey, fabric couch.
taehyung raised his head and looked over at his friend. he was currently sitting on an armchair, his knees raised to his chest.
"i hope nothing bad happened to him," taehyung mumbled. "he is so pretty. i wish i could spend my whole life with him, yoongs. his voice is so soft and..."
but by the time taehyung looked up, his friend had left.

jeongguk got out of bed.
it was about four in the morning and he couldn't sleep.
he switched on his lamp, finally filling this small room with some light.
jeongguk washed his face and brushed his teeth. his whole body ached and he felt dirty all over.
by the time he had finished brushing his teeth, his gums were bloody and stinging. jeongguk let out a soft hiss of pain before returning to his bed.
the boy reached above for the cupboards that housed his clothes. he grabbed a new, clean pair of jeans and a shirt to wear.
jeongguk had a long, warm shower. he used as much shampoo and condition as he thought he should use, making his hair smell strongly of tropical fruits. he also used a lot of body lotion, leaving his skin feeling soft.
and by the time he was done getting ready for the day and had cleaned up his dirty apartment, it was the usual time he'd go to the cafe.
with a big smile on his face, jeongguk left his apartment block.
he couldn't wait to see taehyung.
