The next day...Morning 

Davina's pov

Okay so today me and Kol are going to tell Clara that I'm pregnant. We're only going to tell Clara for now even though Bonnie, Vincent and Bonnie's friend who confirmed my pregnancy know about it. "Relax love. Clara's going to be thrilled when we tell her" Kol says kissing me on the cheek as he hands me a glass of freshly made orange juice "I know, it's just my nerves acting up" I respond as I take a sip of my orange juice "well I can help you get rid of those nerves if you want" Kol replies wiggling his eyebrows making me laugh "oh as much as I so would love that. We can't as Clara is due to come down in 3..2..1" I say "morning mommy and daddy" Clara chirps as she skips into the kitchen with Vincent behind her "good morning Princess" Kol responds "good morning baby girl" I greet as she skips over to her usual chair and sits down. "Where's breakfast?" Clara asks "it's right here princess" Kol responds grabbing a small plate off the counter and placing it on the table "thank you daddy" she replies "you're welcome princess" he replies leaning down and giving her a kiss on the forehead. "So Clara when you're done with your breakfast. Me and daddy have something to tell you" I say "okay, mommy" she replies as she grabs her kiddie knife and fork and starts cutting into her pancakes. "While she's eating, why don't we discuss plans to take you know who down?" Vincent suggests "oh, don't worry we've got that figured out.. First I need to come clean to the people of New Orleans and tell them I'm the hood before presenting them with the truth about Lucien and his family and about everything he's done" Kol responds "everyone is inspired by the hood so once Kol reveals himself. He can encourage the people to help fight against Lucien and take him down" Davina says "good start and then what?" Vincent asks "together with the people. We ransack the castle and arrest Lucien and anyone who is a follower of him" Kol responds I cover Clara's ears "then we sentence Lucien to death for everything he's done. He's committed mass crimes and conspired with treason which is punishable by death plus I wouldn't trust him not to worm his way back into power if he remained alive and we can't let that happen" I add "good idea, when do you plan on doing this?" Lucien asks "I'm going into the square later today to tell the people but we will hopefully attack and take down Lucien once and for all tomorrow" Kol responds "very well. I'll send word to Enzo to accompany you in case you need back up" Vincent replies "alright" Kol replies as Vincent exits the kitchen as Clara finishes the last of her pancakes.

I take away Clara's empty plate and Kol takes it off me "okay sweetie so me and daddy have some news to tell you" I say as Kol comes back from placing the dirty plate on the counter to be washed. "What is it mommy?" Clara asks "well you know how back when me and mommy got married and you told us you wanted a sibling?" Kol asks "yes, I remember daddy" she replies sweetly making me smile "well your mommy is pregnant" Kol replies "what does that mean?" Clara asks tilting her head to the side "it means I'm having a baby. You're gonna be a big sister" I respond making her eyes widen "no way! Really?!" she asks excitedly "yes, your mommy's having a baby" Kol responds "am I getting a brother or a sister?" she asks making us laugh "princess your mommy is only a few weeks pregnant and we won't know the gender until the baby is born" Kol responds "how long will you carry the baby for mommy?" she asks curiously "around six months" I respond "is that a long time?" she asks "it sounds long but six months will come rather quickly" I respond "okay" she replies "do you have any other questions?" Kol asks "yes, I have one little question" she responds "okay, what's the question?" I ask "how are babies made?" she asks making mine and Kol's eyes widen. "Um well you see when a mommy and daddy love each other very much. They sometimes like to have babies and that's how babies are made" Kol responds "but how are they made? Where do they come from?" she asks "I wanted a baby so I asked your daddy for his seed and so he gave me his seed and planted it and now I have a baby growing in my belly" I respond "how did daddy plant a seed in your belly? Does he have a long shovel?" she asks making Kol stifle a laugh "something like that, yes. It's a very special shovel designed to plant seeds in mommy's when they want a baby" Kol responds "where do I find one?" she asks "they're magical shovels. They only appear when you're old enough and ready for a baby, so don't expect to see one anytime soon" Kol responds "okay, so does Enzo have the same shovel too?" she asks making our eyes widen "what makes you think that?" I ask "her mommy's pregnant too" she replies "well that's nice" I respond having no idea that Bonnie is pregnant as she hasn't said anything. "So does Enzo use the same shovel daddy used to put the baby in you?" Clara asks "yes but he has a different shovel. Each daddy has their own shovel to use to plant baby seeds in mommy's belly. I have my shovel and Enzo has his own shovel" Kol responds "okay, let's move on from this discussion" I say wanting to end this awkward conversation. "Come on Clara. Let's get you cleaned up, I'm taking you to Bonnie's for a bit so you can play with Alexis" I say standing up from my seat and holding out my hand to her "yay!" she squeals jumping off her chair and grabbing my hand "careful sweetie" I say "sorry mommy" she replies making me smile "it's okay baby" I respond as I lead her out the kitchen while Kol cleans up the dishes.
