#13: Fulfilling a promise - {Zouis} - (Smut Included)

Author's P.O.V.

*The Promise*

"Lou!!!" Zayn shouted. "Yeah?" Louis replied, turning toward the raven haired boy. "Since i'm 6 and you're 7, let's make a promise." Zayn said, walking toward the edge of his backyard, motioning for Louis to follow him. They sat on the grass on a few stone bricks in the corner of the yard, the bricks next to eachother. Louis was Zayn's neighbor, they were both children and had lived next to eachother for years. They had practically known eachother forever, given the fact that their parents were friends. Louis' parents moved from Doncaster to Bradford when Louis was two, so Zayn and Louis' parents could live next to eachother. Louis and Zayn would visit eachother alot when they lived far away, and now all they had to do was walk to the next house over. It was now much simpler for the boys, and they'd been playing constantly with eachother ever since Louis' family moved there, and even before that when they still lived in Doncaster. The two were practically inseperable, they loved eachother to peices.

"What promise?" Louis questioned, tilting his head sideways.
"Remember our mums were talking about somethin called virgity?" Zayn quizzically questioned.
"Oh! The time we were spying on them, talking about virginity?" Louis asked to make sure he understood what the Bradford boy was talking about.
"Yeah!" Zayn confirmed, smiling. "Remember when they said it was special? Since they said everyone has one, What if we give ours to eachother when we are older, since it's special?" Zayn asked.
"Yeah! It's like a gift they said, we give eachother special gift, since we love eachother!" Louis grinned.
Yeah!" Zayn smiled in response, both boys oblivious to the fact of what virginity was.

(Author's Note: Yes, i'm laughing too at how i decided to put this)

"Is it wrong to love another boy?" Louis questioned seconds later.
"No, my mum said that love is when you feel happy with someone and they are important to you, and you think they're amazing in a lot of ways even if they have had things like every other person." The brown haired boy smiled as he said, "Okay then! I love you, Zee!!" "I love you too Lou!!" Zayn squealed as Louis happily shouted.

Author's P.O.V.

Today Zayn was turning 16, while Louis was already 17. They were one year 18 days apart.

(Author's note: just like in real life.)

"Louis" Zayn shouted. "Oi!" Louis shouted back. "What?" He asked as he entered the kitchen, where he saw Zayn cooking on the stove, currently stirring something around in a pot. "Are the lads headed over for today?" Zayn asked keeping his eyes on the food he was making. "Yeah, i texted them earlier. Ni said he'd be here in an hour, after he picks up Harry and Liam." Louis answered back, texting on his phone, not once looking up. "Okay, great!" Zayn replied satisfactorily.

"Hey, did you remember the lights this time, or did you leave them at your house?" Zayn asked the older boy quickly, before he forgot again. "Oh shoot! I'll be right back." Louis laughed, grabbing his keys to go nextdoor to his house to fetch the colored lights for him and his mates, the ones that he and the rest of the boys were going to use to decorate Zayn's house with for his Mini Hangout Party. Zayn had never really been a big party person, he's always just enjoyed having friends over for his birthday, so that's what he did for his birthday this year. But instead of just a day to hangout with a normal house, the boys agreed it would be cool to put a fun touch on the house, and they all decided on weird yet cool colored lights. They'd use them to light up Zayn's house when all the lights were off, a series of colored lights in each room. They decided to make it funnier by saying they'd play games in the dark with those on, and that it'd be hilarious. Zayn being the soon to be birthday boy laughed too as they all added things making the situation funnier as they planned for the future hangout for Zayn's birthday, clutching their stomachs from laughter by the end of the conversation. Zayn chuckled as Louis left, he's always been a bit forgetful with things.
