As Archie dropped the gun from his hand, he saw his father sitting in front of the G&G game board.
"No. No. I'm not playing with you" Archie said as tears began to form in his eyes.
"If you want to come home, Son, you have to finish the game" Fred said as he looked at Archie.
Archie then sat down in front of his father and as he looked down at the game, tears began to fall down his face.
"What's wrong, Son?" Fred asked as he looked at Archie.
"I'm.....I'm so sorry for not being a better son" Archie said as he then broke down into tears.
"Oh Archie....you haven't done anything wrong. It's your past and your darkness that's holding you back and making you feel like you haven't done enough" Fred said. Archie then looked up at his father.
"But I thought that I got rid of my darkness" Archie then said.
"Not completely" Fred then said.
Archie then grabbed a card and then looked at it before standing up and walking to the door, that was now opening. Archie then looked at his father before walking through.
Archie was now all of a sudden greeted by utter darkness. He tried fiddling for a light switch but he couldn't find one. He then reached into his jacket pocket and as he took his hand back out, a torch appeared in his hand.
As he turned it on, he saw a figure lying down on a bed. He then walked closer and saw that it himself. He then looked down and saw blood on the left side of his chest. He then realised that it was when he had been attacked by a bear.
He then walked closer to himself and as he walked closer, he could hear strained breathing. As Archie then looked down at his hands, a bat suddenly appeared in his hands.
"Rid yourself of the darkness that is holding you back" Fred's voice said.
Archie then looked at himself and then at the bat. He then raised the bat above his head and then swung it down. He then kept doing it over and over and over again. Blood ended up splattering on his face and on the bat. For some reason, to Archie, it felt good. It felt liberating. Once he had stopped swinging the bat, the bat disappeared and so did his body that was lying on the bed.
Then all of a sudden, Archie was back in the hospital and was standing right next to his Uncle.
