Chapter 15 Finding Archie

Everyone searched all through Riverdale for Archie but no one came up with anything.

Archie managed to wake up about half an hour later and when he did, Nick came over with a box in his hands. He put it on some shelves and then did something with it.

"What's....that?" Archie asked exhaustively.

"This Archie, is a bomb. And it is going to destroy everything. Including you" Nick said.

"I'm gonna kill you" Archie said.

"Too late for that, Archie" Nick said. Nick then did a few more things and left the building. Archie then waited for a few minutes and once he knew that Nick was definitely gone, he painfully scooted over to the switchblade on the floor.

Once he finally grabbed it, he began trying to cut the rope that bound his hands together.

"Come on" Archie said to himself as he desperately tried to cut the rope as fast as he could. After a few minutes, the ropes finally came off his wrists and dropped onto the floor beside him. He then looked over at the shelf where the bomb was and noticed that it was beeping. Meaning that Nick had activated it.

Archie now had to move quickly. He looked over at the door at the other end of the building and then began crawling to it. But as he did that, pain flooded his body.

IN TOWN

Veronica was trying to figure out where Archie was like everyone else when she suddenly got a phone call. She walked away a little to answer it.

"Hello?" Veronica said nervously, putting her phone to her ear.

"Hey Ronnie" Nick's voice said.

"Nick!? Where is Archie!?" Veronica immediately asked in anger.

"Oh he's somewhere where you'll never find him" Nick said.

"Nick, you tell me. You tell me right now or so hep me god I will end you!" Veronica said.

"Wow, now with the threats. I like it" Nick said.

"Don't play with me, I'm serious!" Veronica said.

"Alright... I guess I could tell you" Nick sighed. Veronica stayed silent.

"He's in a big warehouse in Riverdale and there's a bomb about to blow that warehouse up. Better get to it" Nick said as he then hung up the phone.

Veronica took the phone away from her ear and just stared at it. When she looked to the side, she saw everyone looking at her.

"Where's Archie?" Fred asked.

AT THE WAREHOUSE

After several minutes of agonizing pain, he finally reached the door. He reached for it and to his shock, it was locked. Swearing under his breath, he leant up against the door and held his bleeding shoulder. Which hurt like hell. 

"It's already infected. I don't know what to do" Archie said to him, sobbing in pain. He then looked at the timer on the bomb and it said "10 MINUTES". Believing that no one was gonna make it to save him, he accepted his fate.

IN TOWN

"Did Nick say anything about the warehouse?" Jughead asked.

"Not what the name of it was but just that Archie was in a big warehouse" Veronica.

"The only big warehouse in Riverdale is the abandoned Smiths Toy Factory" Jughead said.

"Then let's get there. Who knows how long Archie's got" FP said.

AT THE WAREHOUSE

Archie was in and out of consciousness. He was losing a lot of blood from the wound on his shoulder and the pain he felt, exhausted him even more.

Suddenly, Archie was able to hear footsteps outside the warehouse. 

"Go away Nick" Archie moaned.

"Archie!? Archie it's me, Ronnie" Veronica said through the door. 

"R-Ronnie?" Archie said weakly.

"Yeah I'm here. Just hang on, we're gonna get you out" Veronica said. The door was banged on a few times and then it was opened and Archie fell backwards. Fred managed to catch him in time.

"Jesus christ! He needs a hospital" Jughead said, looking at Fred in shock.
