Going for a walk

Namjoon didn't mean to slip. They were supposed to just be going on a walk together to relax before the comeback season started. Namjoon didn't mean to see the kittens and immediately slip because of how cute they were. He tugs on Hoseok's sleeve.

"Seokie? Joonie sorry." Hoseok looks down at him bewildered.

"Joon-ah did you slip?" Hoseok takes in his appearance. The middle is clearly feeling a big younger than his usual little age of 9 maybe about 7 or even 6. He nods timidly and points to the kittens in the box. The rest of the members have kept walking leaving the two behind.

"Guys come back!" Hoseok yells to the rest before turning to Namjoon.

"You saw the kittens and you slipped bub?" Joon nods again and looks up at Hobi. The rest of the boys come back with confused looks on their faces.

"Hobi-ah, Joon-ah what's up?" Seokjin asks. Namjoon points to the box of kittens and Yoongi gasps immediately slipping into his headspace of about 4 years old. He rushes over to the box and crouches down to look at the kittens. Jin shakes his head knowing what happened.

"Do you want to go see the kittens too bub-bub?" Jimin takes ahold of Namjoon's hand when he agrees and they walk over and crouch with Yoongi and watch the kittens. The older lady sitting next to the box of kittens looks on with a slight smile on her face.

"Would you guys like to hold one?" She asks kindly and Yoongi immediately nods his head and holds out his hands.

"Uh huh wanna hold kitten!" The lady places one into his hands and he stares at it in wonder. Sure they had Yeontan at the dorm most of the time but this was the little's first time holding a kitten.

"How about you young man?" She looks at Namjoon next and he looks timidly up and Jimin who nods.

"Yes please ma'am." He holds out his hands.

"Wow what good manners you have!" She places a small kitten into Namjoon's hands and he smiles down at it.

"Thank you!" Namjoon responds holding the kitten close to him and carefully using his finger to pet it.

"Eomma kitten!" Yoongi holds the kitten up for Jin to see smiling. The boys try not to panic at the use of the nickname but the lady doesn't seem to question it one bit.

"Okay boys I think we should give the nice lady the kittens back." Yoongi immediately shakes his head.

"Mine!" Yoongi answers stubbornly.

"We'll get ice cream if you give it back." Jin sighs. Yoongi holds the kitten out to the lady who puts it back into the box. Yoongi stands up and grabs onto Taehyung's hand. Ready for his ice cream.

"Joon?" Seokjin looks down at Jimin who is trying to coax Namjoon into giving the kitten back but he's already fallen for it.

Hoseok speaks up quietly "What if we let him keep it?" Namjoon doesn't hear but the rest of them do and look at Jin to see his response. Seokjin looks down at the boy with the kitten seeing how happy he is and relaxed. He steps away from the group and walks up to the lady.

"How much for the kitten?" She shakes her head.

"Take him he's yours." Yoongi sequels and goes over to Namjoon.

"Joonie hear? We get kitty! Joonie! Joonie! Can I name it! Please Joonie!" Namjoon nods absentmindedly.

"Oooo we can name him Suga! So he can be cool like me!"

The boys went to get ice cream like they promised Yoongi. At the ice cream parlor they have to feed Namjoon his ice cream because he's too busy coddling the kitten in his arms. When they get home Namjoon still refuses to let the kitten go and he has officially been named Suga but he's definitely Namjoon's kitten.
