“Wilson… Wilson… Come on…” I struggled out.

I just woke up to find myself in an empty room. I felt as if the walls were closing in on me. I tried to wake Wilson up, but that attempt did no good. I saw dried blood on a part of his head. That wasn’t good. I tried to pull out the blade in my right butt pocket, but it wasn’t so easy with Wilson’s weight holding me down, causing me to not be able to move. I don’t know how long I sat there waiting for Wilson to wake up, but he finally woke up.

“Wilson… you ok?...” I said doing the best I could to keep my mouth moisturized.

“Fiara…” he struggled to say my name.

“Okay, before you say anything… I need you to… help me with something… look, I have to get something out… of my pockets… so I need you to shift a little to the left…”

“Okay.” he finally said as he slowly shifted.

“Okay, reach into my butt pocket on the right and pull out the switch blade.” I said as I moved a little closer to him. He reached in and pulled out the blade. We started to take turns in cutting the rope until it finally broke apart.

“Okay, can you stay awake?” I asked, helping Wilson to on one of the walls.

“Yea.” He said trying to get up.

“No, stay there, I’ll search around.” I said as I looked around the room. There were hardly any signs of a way out other than the locked door.

“Fiara…” Wilson said.

“Yes?” I asked walking back over to him.

“Here.” He said pulling out a paper clip from his back pocket.

“Why do I love you?” I joked as I bent the paperclip and picked the lock.

It took a while but it finally clicked and we were out. I could almost smell the freedom. That was until I knocked into someone.
