“Let me go!” Ms. West cried trying to struggle free.
“Please, you’ll hurt yourself Ms. West, and not only you, the baby too.” At this she stopped struggling free, but that didn’t stop her from giving Chase and Madison a death glare. I gave Madison and Chase a look. They helped Ms. West up and we moved to the interrogation room.
“Ms. West, the reason why you were brought here was because we had told you before that you were supposed to stay in your hospital room until the doctors release you. However, not only did you not obey that, you ran away from the officers assigned to protect you.” Heath said with his “business tone”
“Dave didn’t deserve it. That whore! It must be her! She wanted him dead because he chose me over her!” Cecelia started screaming.
“Ms. West, please calm down.” Madison ordered.
“No, I can’t take on the fact that he died because she was jealous!” Cecelia cried.
“Ms. West, who is this “she” that you are talking about?” Chase asked. I opened a box of Kleenex and gave it to Cecelia.
“I’m so sorry for what I did in the past few days. I just couldn’t take the fact that he died. I loved him so much.” Cecelia said as she wiped away the rest of her tears.
“Ms. West, we just need to know who this other person was.” Wilson asked again.
“The other person was Ivan’s ex-girlfriend Juliana Rey.” Cecelia said in between little sobs.
“Thank you Ms. West, however this time don’t run away from the hospital or the police. And if you really do need to talk to someone, you can always call me.” I added, giving her my card, remembering that I didn’t do so earlier.
“NO, I can’t go back! Juliana works there!”
“Ms. West please calm down, we’ll bring you to another hospital then.” Madison said, trying not to unleash her rage on the poor lady.
“Which one?” She said with fear in her eyes.
“You get to choose.” I said quickly.
“I rather stay home and have a private doctor.” Cecelia said stubbornly.
“Private doctor it is Ms. West.” Heath said, showing her to the door. Madison and Chase let out a sigh of relief the moment she was out the door.
“She wasn’t that bad…” I said.
“Fi, if you have a doubtful tone, then you know she was bad. To think I’ll get used to this… Chase I think you’ll need to arrest me one day for trying to kill someone for whining.” Madison joked.
“Very funny Madi, I need a partner, and so far you’ve been doing a great job as the bad cop. You make me look like an angel.”
“Fiara I need you and Wilson to go over to Juliana’s house, we have probable clause and we need to search her house.
