Hey guy's, thank you for reading Dead Breaker Vol. 1, judging from the Bonus Content, most of you probably wanted more content due to the amount of information I had on the other series I wrote, AR: Flare, which is out now by the way. But back to the content, you see, there's a lot mysterious things still floating around in the story and as I said before I want to keep those "floating things" a secret until the answers are revealed in later volumes. This should be a good thing for you guys so I can't spoil anything yet (laughs!).
As far as the main plot, it took me a lot of time to think of a good plot for a dark fantasy. I already had the characters and setting in place but the plot still bothered me, until it hit me. I've always been heavily influenced by Kazuma Kamachi, for you anime fans out there probably know him as the creator of A Certain Magical Index series. I was fascinated by the whole idea of science verses magic concept, which later on gave me the idea for the plot, and boom! Dead Breaker was born.
To wrap up this afterword, I wanted to state in this volume, by diving more into the setting of the story first before the main character development starts to get involved. In the next volume you start to see characters opening up and different pasts to be revealed. Lastly, more questions such as the mysterious technology as Reaper Edge will be revealed and what the Reapers really are, so I hope you stay tuned for more in the next volume of Dead Breaker!
