To say that your career as a soul stealing criminal had taken a turn for the interesting would be an understatement.

Before meeting Spider-Woman, your life was relatively mundane, with, of course, your soul stealing powers adding a little flair.

But ever since your first meeting, you've been captivated by the White spider that swings gracefully across the night sky, like a dancer who rhythmically steps on the stars above in the soft moonlight.

By the gods, she was brilliant.

You both had a rocky relationship, at first bitter rivals, and after a bit of socializing, frenemies, and then, on one particular night, you both gave in to your primal desires, and met in your bed.

That was the first time you called her Gwen, and the first time she called you (Y/N).

Afterwards, Gwen left you without a word, you couldn't call her, find her at her work, or locate her out on the streets where Spider-Woman would save the day.

You descended into a sad darkness, confused as to why Gwen would suddenly leave, and unsure how to get her to speak to you.

You flipped through the pages of the newspaper you kept at your desk, and genius struck.

On the front cover of the paper was the story:

New York Central Bank Now Holds Priceless Artifacts!

It was brilliant! You would make a scene by robbing the bank, taking note not to harm any guards or civilians, and wait for Gwen to arrive. Why, you could even post the entire robbery online to get her attention! Genius, you are!

You threw on your raincoat and traveled to the bank, you had not a moment to lose.

Besides the regular guard that could be knocked out with a soul strike, along with cameras that you could hide from with a soul shroud, you reached the vault relatively easily, live-streaming the entire ordeal as you did.

Now, the vault itself was a conundrum, as it was heavily reinforced, and was reported by the newspaper to have a advanced laser tripwire grid.

You thought for s moment, wiping the rainwater from your raincoat as you pondered on a solution.

Then you got it, you would focus your soul powers into a powerful laser beam, effectively cutting a doorway for yourself.

You waisted no time in focusing your power, every soul you ever stole was needed to make a laser powerful enough to carve through the thick metal.

With a strong push forward of your arms, you fired the laser at the vault, it's intense heat smacking you in the face as the screaming souls rushed forward in the beam.

You cut a circular hole through the vault, and with one last push, made a hole straight through the vault big enough to walk through.

You entered the vault, and found, as you suspected, several valuable artifacts hidden behind a complex laser grid.

You took in everything that was in the vault, classic art, ancient statues, and even a full suit of samurai armor filled the fortified room.

Just as you were about to summon souls to take out the laser grid, a voice rang out behind you.

Voice: That's far enough (Y/N).

You turned, already expecting who it was, and was pleasantly surprised to see it was indeed Gwen.
